Mechanics feel modern but clips are old because the actual potential of noticeably improving the mechanics peaked in Chapter 2, theres not much more you can do other than just slightly refine what you already do. Any highly mechanical player like Raider 464 could do absolutely everything back in Chapter 2 and they are not significantly better now, just a bit more polished. The potential has flattened years ago.

the skill curve is exponential on a game like this, slow gradual increase until it skyrockets and then plateaus into almost no improvement again.

yeah we've pretty much reached the skill ceiling for mechanics but there are still other areas of fighting that even pros could definitely improve at.

This not true. Pxlarized7 is not the best fighter. FYI, if you go watch sypher pk’s 1v1 tourney, reet, the best player in the game rn, beat polar. The only player who comes close to reet is Peterbot in my opinion. Reet is the most underrated player in the game. He dropped 50 kills in unreal solo squads. So in conclusion, REEET IS THE BEST PLAYER, and best fighter.

Reet is not the best player he is the 2d best controller player below mero who literally won 6 fncs . Cuz obviously fncs is the hardest tournament. And Peterbot only won 1 fncs and reet came 9th in global fncs. So mero and reet are MUCH better than Peterbot and pxlarized

The “emote moment” is a glitch in game this season that makes people’s heads crank backwards randomly, usually when collecting loot. I have noooo idea what causes it though. I agree season 5 is a lil boring though, mostly cause its hunt coin people or do bounties to find enemies cause NOBODY is around after drop fights. Also in ranked everyone just hides 🫣😩
