Also, it gives her time to relax and do whatever she wants in between considering she debuted at a very young age and probably didn't get to enjoy life normally as others her age. And the fact that TBL's artists are mainly self-produced/compose their own music which is evident with nost of her songs credited to her, so Somi was probably compiling and polishing her songs. If you watched I Am Somi, you can even see Teddy telling Somi to take control of her production as it was her own song, and if it fails because she's hesitant, it's all on her.
