As many of u guys mentioned that sliding and jumping also cancels the sprint to fire delay .. which is true but keep in mind that jumping and sliding also reduces your hip fire accuracy .. so keep that in mind .. is it worth sacrificing hipfire accuracy to cancel sprint to fire delay ? I’m not really sure .. but I think the trick I mentioned in the video at 3:20 is best overall

Also true .. but the issue with sliding it reduces hipfire accuracy so not sure if it's gonna help .. I'd rather sprint normally and keep my accuracy lower and take the delay penalty .. unless u have wild hipfire perk equipped I don't think it's worth it

What I recommend instead of back stepping to cancel sprint to fire delay, is to walk into gunfight instead of sprinting into them. Easier said than done, but if you say know a guy is around the corner, it's better to walk into lining the shot. This is a good argument for why one may want to not use the "always sprint" setting. I find that turning off "always sprint" makes sprinting and sliding less consistent though. That threshold on the virtual joystick where sprint kicks in, never seems to be totally consistent. Sometime I have to push farther forward than other time to engage sprint. So I went back to "always sprint" and accepted it's going to be harder to be stealthy. I wish they would have given us a button that invoked walk. Like have it to where we can use "always sprint" and then hit hold down or tap a "walk mode" button. In this case the button makes you walk instead of run. This is how I used to set up many FPS games in the past and it rocked! Normally you always want to run by default, and then purposely walk in certain situations. The exception to that is in ones that stamina meter for sprinting, but that mechanic changes the dynamics where you'll want to walk by default, and sprint situationally.

Jumping aslo cancels aprint to fire delay... If you find an enemy wilr sprinting it is better to slid and jump and start to ahoot while your are in the air ..... It is much faster

finally I'm glad that StF is being considered in CoDM. it's too crucial in Warzone since tactical sprinting is an in game mechanic there not just a mythic skin effect. also if you want to tackle StF hassle, make sure to slide first then start shooting. if you want to take StF into consideration when building a gun; MIP laser + No Stock and RTC laser + Stippled Grip are the best combos available. though I recommend RTC Laser and Stippled Grip because devs nerfed SMGs hip fire accuracy in favour of shotgunners seasons ago. another thing that Zara mentioned in his pinned comment is that sliding and jumping decrease hip fire accuracy. you can put "Wild Hipfire" on your gun to counter this issue. for players that are new to hip firing or the veterans who want to practice and polish their skill I recommend using Black Ops SMGs since their attachments have the highest hip fire accuracy buff or using guns with tight crosshairs like: RUS, Cordite, QQ9 and PPsh. but remember that everything boils down to practice. so master your sensitivity and work on your trigger discipline and happy spraying!
