Chipping. My favorite part of weathering. I've currently been doing my chipping physically, with metal tweezers or my hobby knife. But there's a new chipping method on the block which seems like it's got a bit of potential...

I love this channel I just got back into gunpla and want to start painting them but don't really have the room for a full spraying booth but watching you paint by had gives me so much hope i can do it now

So, kinda an alternative for the chipping fluid from Tamiya?

Pretty much. It solves the biggest issue I have with chipping fluid- premature activation due to how thinned out my paint coats usually are

seems ridiculous that it dissolves acrylic considering the push for aqueous line from mr hobby..

True, but as decal setter it works so much better. You’d just have to spray some topcoat before decals just to protect your paint

@@sakidickerson If you can find Mr. Super Clear I recommend that. It’s lacquer based, while the normal Mr. Topcoat is water based acrylic
