naw with 700 hours, 600+ of those exclusively against bots, I can near instantly process the number, variety, and distribution of them all. It feels freaky to know to only pay attention to the red in their eyes, and the rough outline of their shape when dealing with a crowd that thick. That was an amazing feat, the shield generator and hmg emplacement combo is my favorite way to make 1 diver feel like 100

I've been wearing that helmet with the Jaguar armor since I unlocked it. I feel like a proper spartan in that combo with the lance and ballistic shield. If only the shields blocked melee attacks.

That’s a great suggestion! If they do make a clan/platoon system, I would need to decide if I want to manage that or exist as a member. Either way, that would be awesome to have a clan/platoon system along with a chat which would help tremendously with coordinating attacks and defenses.

it's funny how the hmg emplacements are finally getting recognition they deserve, me and my friend was using those puppies way before they were cool, like literally people didn't like the emplacements cause they thought it hindered movement and if you weren't moving all the time you were dead, but in reality hell divers 2 since the beginning was supposed be played with more of defensive way, push up get behind cover, push get behind cover etc. not saying you can't play the game offensively but if you want to survive more don't go running in guns blazing and be surprised that you got obliterated your not the main character and it's ok for you not to be the mvp of the game it's a team extraction shooter not cod

@ Exactly! My endgame for this game is experiencing as much cinematic battles as possible. At this point, I’ve done every mission type hundreds of times so I’m not as interested in primarily completing them. Killing the enemy helps us achieve that goal anyways. I don’t get bored of this game because of the combat. I like to see orbitals being thrown by my teammates because it adds to the epic warfare setting with all of the explosions going on in the background. I like to see myself guns blazing during those moments.

They did, you can see salvos of rockets impacting the energy shield at 0:29, and at 0:37 another salvo of rockets appeared but they all missed and hit the berm. The Rocket devastators also have limited ammunition now, they can fire one salvo, reload the launchers, fire once more, and then they are out of rocket ammo.

As yetson mentioned, they tried lol. Were it not for my bubble shield, I most likely would have perished after the first salvo because there were so many explosions that I couldn’t see anything for a moment. Then they couldn’t hit me with the 2nd barrage because I was actively shooting at them which caused their aim to be even more inaccurate, even causing them to hit each other.

I remember that episode. I would absolutely love a Horde mode with Terminids. A bonus would be some missions not spawning any heavy enemies, but instead warriors, Alpha Commanders, hunters, etc. have a 6x spawn rate or something to compensate. That would scratch that itch of being surrounded by a sea of enemies.
