I don't have a problem with Asuka not having a good jab punish. 1,2 gives good plus frames (+6) for 13 damage. 1,3 is good as a round ender rather than a punish since it's 0 on hit for 15 damage. My problem is it being -2 on block and not able to pressure with it. Would like it to be 0 or + on block. 2,3 losing the pushback sucks. My guess is they wanted to kill her wall carry on it and force us to use other buttons. ff4, db4,3, and df3 are great for wall carry but least 2,3 leaves you close to the opponent. db1 and ss2 being punishable isn't a bad thing. I believe good heat engager moves should be punishable. Hardly anyone is going to punish db1, most will either duck the high or block the mid to punish. ss2 should be used sparely so just be smart it and don't over extent with it. d2 being the safe heat engager is perfect since it sucked as a counter hit launcher in T7. You have to use 1+4 to pick up after CH d2 to juggle and 1+4 scales your damage hard in juggles. d2 into heat dash gives you a full combo. So, I'm fine with them staying as they are. Her damage is good, not as good as Dragunov, but she can hit like a truck. Your df2 combo at 7:34 is awful. Your combo did little damage because you used 1+4 (1+4 scales combos badly) before you did u1+2. I understand you may not know the optimal combos with her, but you can definitely do better ones. df2 ff4 ff2,3 2,1,2 u1+2 f3+4 is her optimal combo midscreen. If you're near the wall after 2,1,2, save the install and use ff4, db4,3, or df3 to splat the opponent into the wall and use 1+4,2,4 as a wall ender to get big damage. Only use install midscreen after a tornado and you can easily get 70-80+ in damage. It sucks that parry isn't stupidly good anymore but it's something I use sparely so I don't mind if they leave it as is. All in all, I do think Asuka can use some help but I believe she still good and fun to play with.

These are characters are strong, it's just that the top tiers are broken. NO THIS GAME DOES NOT NEED BUFFS IT NEEDS NERFS. Buffing these characters would put them in the broken category as well.

That's what I don't understand on what they did to Asuka. Asuka is a a C+ to B tier character at best, and yet they still nerfed her key skills. They even returned the long recovery time when ff1 whiffed. She also don't have a proper mix up to be honest, that is what makes her weak during heat burst scenario

- make LH stance cancelable to PAB or FLK with easy input - Sonic Fang Heat need to allow us to combo not small followup - fix UF4, make it i15 if it possible and it's okay if it's -13 or -14 just like other hopkick - Add 1+2 option to Two-faced grab, and make that mid property, cause it's makes sense since we on heat - and this is just my opinion but i hope they bring back shiro combo. so his CH DF2 more functional. i hate when he being named "Counter Punching Paragon" but his lacking CH tools. instead give more CH tools they make him "Balance" which is bad decision, he need more CH and poking tools since mostly he only do punch😩.

I see this trend of people trying to make it seem like Zafina is good at this game when she's evidently the worst one in this game. You have no idea of the amount of nerfs she got in this game and it don't even compare to all these characters that are listed. Y'all just trying so hard to not downplay her so she doesn't get the buffs she need in the next patch.

Steve has multiple issues…only character that can’t kill opponent after blocking a rage art…and the LH is just bad….you go into LH at +7 when opponent is in rage and then you eat rage art or power crush…choice is yours…..namco is being shameless over these characters right now

the rage art thing i have never understand. this is no problem at all. he can still punish rage art with i think 43 dmg. thats 90% of the time enough to kill anyway nobody needs 70 dmg after rage art. edit: but yes he is still underwhelming the main problem is b1 and lionheart as a whole because peekaboo is still super strong overall his wall games are also super good the amount of people you will get with just spamming 312 and 412 at the wall is crazy. the big problem is b1 wet noodle dmg and lionheart everything else is fine

@@ranges787 it happens due to recoverable health…not saying it happens all the time or very often but how does it feel when you can’t kill your opponent for doing a rage art in a promotion match or a tournament match…and why shouldn’t steve be able to do this why this outcast treatment…and for me personally I don’t like him launching from range 2.5+ with anime style punch shouting uppehh…just looks ugly…instead buff his CH game make him justify his name

@@HenryNesta-o5b he will never launch punish a 15 frame move or a 16-17-18-19-20 and that’s ok how it is whats not ok is nerf his ch game. this is the reason why he cannot launchpunish. b1 in my opinion the best launcher in the game with ewgf it’s-1 giga safe and catches mashers everyday. df2 also one of the best and b2 also super good the problem is those do no dmg. if steve gets his dmg back from ch he will be good again he is a 100% bait character that will destroy your an/us if you have no clue about frame data and that’s the tradeoff for no launcher. edit: the reason why his ch got nerfed into oblivion imo is because nobody has a magic 4 anymore and i guess they thought it would be insane if he stayed like in t7 but obviously ch nerf killed his entire identity in t7 there were moves similar to b1 not as good but at least similar but now they are to my knowledge all gone he has no significant lows he has no crazy strings he has no good launcher his heat is ass he has no real 50/50 just with throws and that would be all ok if his ch would be insane but in the state right now king is better at ch than steve…

@@ranges787 nobody is asking for i15/16/1718/19/20 launcher….but he should be able to kill on blocking a RA like other characters…DF2 is not good at all….jin has i 16 mid that CH launch, bryan has same lili has i 17 mid CH launcher compared to those Steve’s df2 is nothing…when you encounter seasoned players its too damn difficult to get a CH….due to ws2 nerf and ext guard break nerf his ducking game has lost effectiveness….he is a crippled character right now…..also good player never mash against steve and a masher is never good against steve….good players know when to interrupt steve and peekaboo and other strings are just ok at high level and nothing more than that….His CH game is weaker than lee and bryan…he is just bad….but yes a genius still might make him work…like rangchu once defeated DJ of Qudans….but that doesn’t mean panda wasn’t bottom tier that time.

steve b1 is the best launcher in the game. but at the same time he does wet noodle dmg. give him his normal b1 dmg back and he would still be good. if they fix b1 dmg and make lionheart actually not a punishment haha he will be great even with all his launcher nerfs.
