After just travelling through that same region in September it looks so different now. While we were travelling we were struck by the lack of trees in Scotland, but it is beautiful. The whole time we were in Scotland we would joke that Chris and Dani need to come to New Zealand and see some mind blowing scenery.

Some people like to complain and get one up on others. What a plonker making a fuss like you said just tell the owner / other camper he has an issue. It should be about helping one another. The first time I tried to put our caravan on a fixed base up a small ramp and was struggling a motor home owner pointed out I could reverse at an angle over some grass and it worked. I appreciated the help.

Fort William. Don't get a machine Costa in Morrisons, a mile up the road there's a proper Costa. Park in Argos car park, loads of room & 1 minute walk down to Costa......we did it several times.......coffee sorted!

Glen Coe is magical and mystical whenever you might visit. But on one of your trips up that way, miss out the Ballachulish bridge, and make the detour via Kinlochleven, a great road, and a few places to park up!

Diesel heater. I’ve got one in my garage and I’ve seen people install them in there Motorhome’s. I’ve got two 22kg of lpg and have got a great system that works and used around 15 in 9 months but I do hook up and use electric kettle and toaster with hot plate but when we are off grid my heating system is to efficient 😂😂😂😂 and fridge is gas and oven plus stove

Chris, rather than a diesel heater conversion, change the bottle to refillable LPG. Don’t believe the naysayers that say it’s being phased out, it isn’t. I’ve got 2x11kg bottles on my van. Plenty for 10 days in the Alps at sub freezing temperatures. 👍🏻

I’m sure I commented on this about mics. Get a pair of neewer cm28 wireless mics. We’ve got them and do a brilliant job and even record backup directly to the mic. Better than rode and dji in my opinion

Hi, nothing to do with this video, I have just checked my door flyscreen and it does rattles the same as yours, luckily mine has the kitchen units behind so it was an easy fix, three stainless screws through the frame into the cupboard job done. I also made a u-shaped bracket that also holds the door secure in the frame.Because you don't have the cabinet to screw too this may solve you problem if at some point you are going to re fit the screen

Can’t help but moan a bit! It’s the 7th of November, and we’re still in double digits up here in the north of Scotland - 12°C to 15°C! Meanwhile, I keep seeing these headlines about 'snow and -50°C temperatures hitting Scotland'… still waiting! 🙄 Last time I stopped at Loch Long, I drove right back out. The parking fees are just ridiculous, and it’s the same story at the other car park nearby. I wouldn’t mind paying if they provided decent facilities or actually reinvested back into the local area - but they don’t. Try finding a public loo, it’s impossible! A few years ago, it cost me around £7.50 just to park while I climbed The Cobbler. I noticed it was a lot quieter this year, and I’m guessing most people feel the same about those prices. When the money doesn’t benefit the local economy, I’d rather park somewhere else!

Oh dear crime of the century having a grey water dribble. My valve leaks, drip drip drip that's all . Had a dutch guy in southern Ireland point it out to me . I said yes it's faulty but it's only rinse water and we use the facilities for showers and washing dishes. Am I going to fix it, no.
