As a Millennial myself and a avid traveler, totally agree with you with the unbalanced lifestyle in certain countries. It continues to be a issue, especially for our generation. But what we have is education/facts/logic and common sense to make wiser decisions.

I want to leave the U.S. for the exact reasons that you left. Things certainly have changed tremendously since I lived there in the early 90s during the Contra-Sandinista conflict. It was a dangerous place to be back then. However, I took hubby a few years ago and I barely recognized the country. I am very glad that the food has gotten better, too. The lactose-free milk is a surprise. I look forward to the food video.

I can't fathom having a retirement at my age for the same reason you can't fathom owning a home at yours. While it is technically illegal in Nicaragua, we haven't come across too many people that mind. We keep PDA to a minimal while traveling in general, but that is just our preference. Hope this helps!

I suggest checking out remote work and teaching English online. Research digital nomad opportunities and don't give up! The government doesn't require an amount to be in your bank that I know of. Hope this helps!
