​@@Mr.Tripod I honestly prefer the controller even though the mouse is more precise, but I play with no assist because I enjoy suffering 😂. I was more of a Battlefield guy since MW2 (the first one), and in larger more varied battles it isn't as much of an advantage unless you only roll in close-up battles with an smg. Aim assist in Battlefield screws your aim more than it helps, especially if enemies are grouped near each other or are at different distances that appear close together from your perspective. I can't tell you how many times I had my aim pulled off the intended target when some other enemy runs past that area, or when there are two guys real close together. Without assist I would usually get rolled in close-quarters, but at every other distance I was better and more consistent. When I started playing CoD again in the previous MW I just couldn't cope with the feeling of aim assist at all. It does help a lot, but it also feels like you're not playing the game, lol. It feels like you have no choice but to abuse it, and you can tell that most people do in every kill cam. I'm not sure how people get satisfaction from aim assist flicking with 5000 sensitivity. I am currently rocking a motion aim controller and can never go back. Once you wrap your brain around mixing stick and motion inputs it feels so natural. It *is* technically cheating if you use aim assist with it, but I never have and never will. They really need to add motion input to all default controller. Playstation has had it forever, but games stop using things when not every platform has it (ahem, Xbox). Even the switch has motion input. Mouse and keyboard is technically still superior, but IMHO it is less ergonomic and just feels weird and mechanical. I also like the ability to avoid cheaters by just turning off cross-play, lol.

For gameplay HUD preset, I choose scout (even though the damn game resets this every time). I like having everything at the bottom of my screen. You're more likely to encounter enemies near the top of your screen (in 2nd floor windows, rooftops, etc.) rather than on the bottom of your screen, which is usually just the ground next to your gun. Looking down and left for the minimap is less distracting for me personally as well. Another thing to consider changing is reducing your "screen safe area". This will move items on the outside of your HUD closer to the center which means less distance for your eyes to travel. The last setting I like to change is the opacity of HUD elements like the elimination feed, score feed, etc. Having those items more transparent, to me, is less distracting. I find that a lot of times the information that pops up right next to the crosshair can directly block enemies on the screen (I have no idea why they did this). Making that stuff transparent (like 40-50%) helps a lot with ensuring that you can always see what's directly in front of you. I just wish they would allow us to shrink down the scale and lower the opacity of the objective markers. To my knowledge, this isn't possible and those tend to get in the way more than anything else. OH and also increase your minimap scale to 150%!

Thanks for the tips! I've reached the snipers in my camo grind, and I'm not good haha. Side note that I'm not sure has been said though but may help some... The Deadzone Max setting, means how far the stick has to be moved before it reaches "Full deflection". If you lower it you'll need to apply less pressure on the stick, before the game thinks you're holding your stick all the way - lowering the Deadzone Max on the Running stick is great because you can initiate a full sprint quicker. I hope that makes sense!

Something I noticed too is that when scoping in you stay at full hipfire accuracy until you're fully scoped in, so for for quickscoping it makes blackscoping much less feasible and essentially a hipfire trickshot, the strelock laser enegates this and makes it like previous games. However you sacrifice being 100% accurate without the target laser once fully scoped. Need to do some testing.

Hey so scope - Fun fact; In the Dynamic tuning settings area, you can press Square - and change the strength of the Dynamic Curve, try sliding that badboy down to like 10/5/0 and see if it adds anything. I set mine to 0 (I play 10/10 sens) felt like I was playing at 14/14

I think one of my biggest issues is that I just set min deadzones to 2 because my controller has hall effect sticks so 0 stick drift, but setting it higher is definitely the play cause it eliminates unintentional vertical movements

Some problems I’ve encountered as someone new to Bo6 but I’ve been pretty class at sniping in previous cods; - Other guns have super quick TTK and lower recoil at longer ranges. This makes it near impossible to challenge long ranges especially with the amount of flinch there is. - As far as I’m aware, the crosshairs don’t shrink as you zoom in. This makes blank scoping at closer ranges completely luck based. - crazy movement capabilities, Especially when compared to the first cods where you couldn’t slide for a good 20 metres. - slow ads time, never good for sniping scope As scope mentioned, it’s very hard to play aggressive. In other games this was very much possible with snipers, yet they’ve decided to revoke that.

Something i wanna mention that i dont see people mention nowadays compared to when this setting was first introduced to games, DEADZONES ARE PERSONAL no one has a perfect deadzone you can copy as it depends on your controller, how your thumb rests on the stick, and what feels better to you, I and many others go with as low as possible either with no drift or negligible/super manageable drift for the smoothest feeling thats not out of control

Auto tac sprint is always slower when trying to zoom after sprint this is why some just use "ON" instead of automatic tac sprint since the penalty isn't as bad. I forget who tested that back in MW2019 might have been jgod or someone else. I know with it set to on its just sprint and you have to click the analog to then tac sprint helps a ton I just use ATS anyways though.

I love how they made an entire new medal for hitting a 360 no-scope with a sniper but then made snipers the worst they've ever been. I get that it shouldn't be MW2/BO2 levels of easy to snipe, but at the same time people have made entire careers and fanbases off of sniping (FaZe being the ultimate example). i am curious as to why you're using CAS sharpening over DLSS. You get around 20 free frames and slightly lower gpu latency. Idk if it like looks better or what but from my testing dlss looks good and gives you higher fps so id recommend that over CAS for anyone that has an nvdia gpu.
