Goldenglow’s extreme range grants her incredible versatility, being able to get rid of troublesome enemies before they get close, as shown in this Arknights Integrated Strategies 2 run. Is it better to start your IS run with her instead of Passenger or Eyja?

Edit: typo With the release of IS2 on global and video getting much more views than I expected, I feel obligated to make some clarifications: In case you’re not already aware, Goldenglow looks amazing in the video mainly because of artifacts. She is normally not even one third as strong as shown. However, Goldenglow is still one of the most valued DPS in IS2, because: 1. Her ability to get rid of annoying enemies with neural damage before they get close 2. Great crowd control, which becomes extremely effective with any sort of attack speed buff. 3. Her wide range (s2) or infinite range (s3) allows her to be placed in places that would be considered suboptimal for other casters, saving valuable range tile locations for your other operators. 4. Her skills are easy to manage and use. 5. Even when she’s stunned due to neural damage or other reasons, her drones will still be attacking 6. Her infinite range s3 can be used as a panic button to catch leaks Outside IS, Goldenglow is still a solid unit and one of the most versatile ranged DPS. She’s more known for her ease of use, wide range, crowd control, versatility, and the best DPS in the game to be buffed by Skalter. She’s definitely not known for Chalter/Surtr level of damage, if that is what you’re looking for, she will disappoint you. For the most part, Golenglow is single-target oriented, and her AOE capability is far behind Surtr and Chalter. Must pull or not is a matter of personal opinion, since nothing in this game is actually a must pull. Pull whoever you like!

She could be the weakest operator in the game and I'd still pull for her because she is so absolutely cute and adorable. My biggest fear is how many pulls I have for her after getting Ling (I've secured 300 for Ling). If I get Ling quickly then better chances for Goldenglow. If I miss her on her banner then I'm willing to get her from a 6★ selector pack if she is added in one in the future. I really, really want to get her.

It might take you anywhere from one to hundreds of pulls to get her depending on your luck. There is a pity system where you have increased chances of getting a six star if you don’t pull a six star from 50 consecutive pulls. With this system, you’re almost certain to get a six star from 70 consecutive pulls, even if you’re very unlucky. How to get rolls faster: 1. play weekly Annihilation 2. Recruit four stars and convert them into gold certificates, and convert gold certs into pulls. 3. Use primes to get orundum if you don’t care about purchasing skins. Play as many past event stages as possible to get first-clear originate prime rewards. 4. spend money

It looks like a bunch of attack speed. Goldenglow is kinda weak on her own but her drone has a small chance of exploding which does a lot of dmg. So her passive scales very well with attack speed.
