Pretty slick Mr. Faggioni. I love surf fishing. I don't think it's fair that some channels here low ball surf fishing, say for instance....Darcizzle Wizzle salami bolognese....whatever. I actually unsubscribed from their channel because they said if people don't have $600+ dollars for a daily budget, they can't go fishing. Can you believe that?

Thanks for the explanation on long casting, I have a Rockaway rod and reel set that I cannot cast to save my life. I see that I rely on the whip of the lighter rods that does not work with heavier rods. Now, of course, I am going to have to get a new bright green rod! Thanks for the show! I go 6000 series Okuma and a 12’ Penn special..under $200 and can catch anything in the surf!

It varies on the sinker I use but around 160 yards

I like 'em long but I don't want them super heavy. I see other folks around the world with great long -not heavy- rods. Would like to find a source, also I prefer conventional to spinning. 12' would be great.

What model Penn reels are those?

Not sure how real the reel is but appears to be a Korean market Penn castmaster LC 7000 in neon. There is one ebay seller from korea who sells them and they can be found in Korean language website of another seller Seperately. Thats about all the info on their existence. I've been suspicious of them being fake. Seem to preform well in video so maybe real reels.

Navarre is seaweed hell right now, fort pickens is better but waves and wind are brutal today.. those rods woulda got me over all this grass.. caught my first pomp with fishgum yest so i can go home with that win. 🫡🤙
