When the son is preaching wrong, it is not always a result of what he learned from his father. He probably may have lost his bearing somewhere along the way due to his greed. Many times, sons like that find it difficult to retrace their steps because they dwelt to long in their greed and let it have the better of them, and then they resorted to prosperity gospel. Pastor Korede Komaiya was completely wrong because the word of God goes against everything he preached.

What sayest Christ Himself; “It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God” Mark 10:25 Religion is a very powerful tool and the adherents need to be protected from their leaders. Religion is what can make a man gladly commit suicide. Government has to find some ways to regulate and protect the vulnerable. The vulnerable is anyone who has true faith in his pastor- doesn't matter if he is a Professor or a billionaire. Once religion captures your soul, you are as vulnerable as anyone else.

Everything is wrong with the message.there r alot of poor christians yet pure n righteus.wealth like any other excellent achievement like education n so on r a product of understanding n grace not holiness . mammon spirit is at work to steer men away from salvation n spiritual growth.take a critical look at this message many women will begin to loose respect n honor for men.if u want money learn financial education n stop comparing vanity with kingdom stewardship

God definitely wants all His children well but not all His children have the wherewithal for wealth. Some are mediocre, lazy, complacent and some also come from circumstances that make them feel poverty is their portion. Some were preached to understand that wealth is satanic, and so many. If a christian is poor, it doesn't reflect his spiritual condition for a man is either in Adam or Christ. Let's give people the message of Christ and encourage people to be diligent and hardworking.

Don't feel bad about GOD, there are places the word of GOD spoke about money and riches, alot of verses. Some to warn us that love of money over GOD is evil, and in some other places it says you should be rich or All things are available to you or HE wishes above all things that you prosper. Take your time out, Google is your friend, search what GOD says about riches online, why you need money, the kind you dont need, the one that will put you in trouble...Because you trully need money. Even blessing & feeding people is MONEY! Don't reach it down in your comments, let's get it right.

If they obey and serve HIM (GOD), they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. - Job 36:11 What if you don't? Read the verse the opposite way... You won't prosper the right way without sorrow (NOTE: GOD gives true riches without sorrow). The problem we have is simply believing the bible and not what the pastors say.

I really pity these so-called christians who are saying the pastor has preached the truth. It just proved that they are so ignorant of the truth of the scriptures. They just go to church to swallow whatever the pastor says. They don't read the Bible in different versions nor study the Word at all. They are so gullible, easy to manipulate. Once the pastor sounds eloquent and logical, they think whatever he says is true. They don't know that these pastors understand human psychology, so they know how to easily brainwash and deceive their members by twisting the scriptures. This is why they do it in a way that their members are always scared to ask them Critical questions. They should check their Bible very well, they will notice that the pastor is preaching heresy. For the fact that the message sounds good does not mean it is true. Poverty is not good and nobody likes it. God wants us to prosper. But they should preach the right Gospel, instead of twisting it just to milk their members. That is the spirit of Mammon. May God help us in Jesus' Name.

In the real sense of truth how many rich people today can 100percent say that there money is not corrupted. Yes there are few ones that has the calling to be rich, I Corin 12:28, Roman 12:8. This gospel is dangerous, destructive and damnable. It promotes the spirit of mammon and covetousness. This is the major area i agreed with Dr Damina on the gospel he called Transactional Gospel while i termed it as Gospel of Mammon. May God help us to remain in his will.

We need to take thus teaching with understanding. Theres a perspective to the teaching. What he's simply addressing is the situation of believers who love to remain in their comfort zones and make the gospel of Jesus Christ a lie. He's not attempting to insult anyone or pervert the gospel, he's simply challenging believers to wake up. I for one, have seen that victory in life is warfare; check out how Lions survive, its no child's play. They got to survive by a fight putting their life on the line but believers are desiring wealth but doing nothing. It's just a challenge to youths to wake up. Go out there and see people wasting away doing nothing I once lived in a house where the neighbors are always at home doing nothing, owing rent laughing and taking everyday while i was faithfully paying my rent and other utilities. I parked out and collected change from the landlord so that they don't infect me with their poverty culture Believers should wake up, take the message with understanding instead of criticizing

If your love for God is not empowered by the holy spirit you can't serve God when you are rich. How many rich men are serving God today? Not attending church but serving God? Because there's a lot of distraction that come with money than without money that makes it easy to forsake God if you haven't sold your soul to Jesus Christ. The only poor man that can serve God when he becomes rich is the one whose love for God is empowered by the holy spirit & whom God have given clear vision & have provided for the vision. Only such poor man that has sold his soul to Jesus Christ can remain in love with God no matter the level of his wealth. I give pastor K K kudos for speaking truth to power

Our faithfulness and holiness is not base on our financial or material possession; it's based on our total commitment to Him. Was Lazarus a rich man? Didn't he go to Heaven? The poor widow whom Jesus said cast in more than the others because she gave her widowmite, was she a sinner? Luke 21:2-3 You claim to be anointed to make people rich. You are a blatant lier! "For thou shalt remember the Lord thy God, for it is He that giveth thee power to make wealth."...(Deuteronomy 8:18) There is no such anointing like making people rich. There are principles of prosperity/wealth making laid out in the scriptures. Anyone that applies them, will definitely prosper. Stop deceiving people with your material gospel that has no scriptural basis. Salvation is not base on financial or material possession; it's about accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Personal Savior. Wait a minute, How much did you pay Jesus Christ to be born again? That is if you are truly born again. My brother, The life of Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross is the gospel Bringing people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ; that's the gospel! Stop this deception!

But the guy is not entirely wrong!!! the context of ''you dont know how holy you are until you have money to sponsor ungodliness''. How is that wrong? I know people that were sweeping church before, but their level changed, started having cars and houses, and they stopped sweeping church', had to attend deliverance classes later on due to some funny lifestyles their wealth sponsored. Whereas there are CEOs that still sweep church regardless of their level. Can you compare how Holy David was before he encountered enthronement? Compare his wilderness experience to when he became king, the message is not completely wrong. Here are some biblical examples of people who were poor or humble but later turned away from God after gaining wealth or power: 1. King Saul - 1 Samuel 9:21 → 1 Samuel 15:11 Saul started as a humble man from the least tribe of Israel but became prideful and disobedient after becoming king. 2. King Solomon - 1 Kings 3:7-9 → 1 Kings 11:1-4 Solomon began as a wise and humble king but turned away from God after gaining immense wealth and marrying foreign wives. 3. Uzziah (King of Judah) - 2 Chronicles 26:5, 16 Uzziah sought God and prospered, but his heart became proud, leading to his downfall. 4. The Rich Fool (Parable) - Luke 12:16-21 A man prospered financially but forgot God, focusing only on his material wealth. 5. Judas Iscariot - John 12:4-6, Matthew 26:14-16 Judas was a disciple but allowed greed to lead him to betray Jesus for money. Lets not all commit contextual error. The guy said because of poverty in the life of Judas, Jesus was betrayed, how is that a lie!!! I think some people misquoted this pastor and didn't really see things from the context I heard the same message from.

Listening to him.... I understand what he is saying, but he diverted from his message towards another angle because of people cheering him.......It's good to work, get rich atleast to your own capacity, encouraging men and women, boys and girls to work and also telling them the beauty of riches.... That's how he started but diverted when he saw that people were cheering him, so he started saying what will bring in more cheers.....

I have listened very well to that young man. He is perfectly right on a great deal of things he projected. If you have issues with prosperity then you are already poor and love poverty Period

@kebbynyati Was Peter and the other apostles rich. The Bible says churches gather food items together to send to the elders in Jerusalem, referring to Peter and co. Please don't display your biblical and spiritual ignorance in the public. Sir down with the scripture and study.

They were contented
@oluwadamilareogunmade77214 күн бұрын
@@michaeljennings5026 the point is were they poor? The answer is yes. Does that mean there was sin in their lives. That's the point of contention here. When we talk about contentment which I may not want to go deep on, if they are truly contented then they should not be waiting for deliverables from a poor church like Macedonia church, I rest my case

Pastors and churches teaching the church about how to make money is not bad at all. In fact it is necessary. Dr Damina should balance up his messages.

In a sense, it's true pips. Poverty is of the devil pips and not of Him who was rich and became poor for our sake. But, where sin is concerned, at least if the preacher talked of generational curses and not the sinfulness of a believer. Of course we as believers should be reflective of the Father in all areas of our lives.
