That's crazy to see the side by side. As a first year MLB player on Xbox I have been TRIPPIN about why my pitches mess up some days more than others. I have an elite too so I'm gonna try switching the settings cause ya it's been rough 😅

I felt like when I was getting perfects, it would always hit the edge of the PAR, so I switched back to pure analog and it has felt a lot less flukey for me

Holy turds... I had no idea why this was my pinpoint so janky! I was using my Elite Series 2 but its all stick drift now, and worthless....so i was forced to go to a normal XBox controller and its been awful. I never even heard of Power A Fusion. Thats why i watch your videos tho -- You are the man. Thanks dude.

So I ended up getting the Powera Fusion Pro 3 controller and I played one game so far and I have to say that it felt smooth and I did not have any issues pitching not like using the elite where I had issues all the time.

You can literally let go of both sticks after hitting the top circle, come to center, and then just focus on pulling down to the correct point for the bottom circle if you're not out of the stretch.

The other thing you can do if you have an xbox elite series 2 controller is within the settings, revert the firmware. Then it becomes as smooth as a standard xbox one controller or PowerA but with all the added benefits of the elite controller. There are certainly posts out there showing how to revery the firmware so should be easy to find if you want to. NOTE: reverting only works on elite controllers, cannot do the same on the stock xbox controllers. Doing so makes pitching and PCI movements buttery smooth it's a firmware issue with the xbox branded controllers like you mentioned in their firmware a couple years ago they added this feature (forget what it's called but i'm sure you can look it up) that made it so FPS's ran smoother on the controllers, unfortunately this broke stuff for almost every other type of game with controller input. It's been this way ever since that controller firmware update. Using the revert feature on the elite series 2 controller sends you back to factory default, which is what you want!!

If you have old Xbox one controllers and have updated them they can be reverted, but any new controllers come with the bad firmware unfortunately

@@CJ12KYT You're right, every new controller comes with the bad firmware. But in terms of series 2 elite not being above to revert to revert That was the case for about a year, but they must have updated their path in a recent OS update that now allows one to revert elite series 2 controllers again. I actually just got a new elite series 2 controller bought from target at the beginning of this year's game in March and was able to revert it just fine. You essentially have to go into the help section and use the queues to pick the option that you're having connection issues after recent update, or something like that, I forget off the top of my head, but that path allows you to revert.

100%. I like the idea of pinpoint, but I feel like it’s way to random when you miss. With pure analog… where I miss on the pull back and on the release is where that ball is going.

Sit on the fastball adjust to off speed it’s basically how you hit any pitcher that throws hard. Take alot of pitches to get him tired faster and out the game faster

Is this a firmware issue with Microsoft? I plugged in my old xbox one controller and the pinpoint inputs were buttery smooth. Why isn't SDS calling Microsoft daily to patch this?
