I recommend that you read very carefully what Stephen Hawkins states: "Although we have the impression that we can choose what to do, what we know of the molecular basis of biology indicates that biological processes are governed by the laws of physics and chemistry and therefore are as determined as the orbits of planets. Recent experiments in neuroscience corroborate the idea that it is our physical brain that determines, following known scientific laws, our actions and not some agent operating outside those laws. Would it be better to forget our dead, to suffer less? Any human being would answer no, out of respect for those deceased who have accompanied us and made us happy for so many years. But that was the past, whereas today is today: as E. Tolle we have to let go of our grip on what weighs on us from the past, in order to live peacefully in the present. Perhaps Tolle is right. I'm so sorry, but Math & Physics are not mentioned in the bible, which denied their existence, and the inquisitions of the Christian Church burned mathematical geniuses and astronomers like G.Galilei at the stake.
