Yugioh has the equivalent of Counterspell that casts from the hand. Unless Blizzard introduces a good way to use handtraps, Hearthstone won't become Yugioh.

@@GaussianEntity I just meant in the way that pop offs are starting to happen sooner and sooner and its starting to resemble yugioh in the way that you build a board on turn one, see if your opponent can out it, and that basically decides the game. I know that they will most likely never introduce ways into interact with your opponent on their turn because thats one of the most major things that sets hearthstone apart from over tcgs but on the other hand you never know. we could get the hearthstone equivalent of ash blossom next set lol.

@@bodogaming4755 without the rest of yu-gi-oh’s… issues, would an ash blossom equivalent in hearthstone, or maybe just wild, be that bad? Just a universal ‘shut up’ to opponents trying to do what that Druid did? I’m not smart enough to know is that would be dumb, but it seems like a helpful way to fix thing without having to basically make a whole new game now.
