Yoohyeon's voice is crystal clear and bright where Handong's is very dark and rich so even if they look like twins as blondes it's super easy to tell them apart after one note. She's made entire special clips covering Perfect, Secret Love Song, Touch, all great for a Yoohyeon day. She has a great American accent so everyone assumes she's more fluent at English than she really is; and still has that PAINFULLY American accent speaking Spanish too 😁. Even though Yoohyeon sang Odd Eye on live a week before it released, next comeback their CEO sent the entire group on Weekly Idol doing the BEcause performance before that song released. If you've ever heard of a group called NCT U they have a song called "Baby Don't Stop". Yoohyeon and Dami covered it during one of DC's online concerts. People with weak hearts shouldn't watch that it's pretty dangerous because Yoohyeon knows how to be fatal when she wants and Dami lives there on stage. Thanks for the video. Sorry about the late reply, was really busy with work. I liked your description of Yoohyeon, "unhinged". Haha. Yoohyeon seems to have really good grasp at picking up language phrases and whatnot and pronounces real well. Well that's what others say about the other languages. I can only vouch for english haha. I really enjoy these reactions! Seeing you just smiling at each member is too wholesome. All the girls will definitely capture your heart, lol. Looking forward to the next one.

Next on the list I'd say are German and Japanese, which she's learned to some degree; German on her own time and Japanese for promotions. 2:20 you're just like me fr also, almost all of them can speak an okay-ish amount of english, but i would say yoohyeon is usually the one who "represents" the english speaker in the group (idk if that made anyyy sense)

for the ranking I believe Sua might be one of the least in English within the group. but still she can make it interesting by how she's being so active even for talking only. I recently just realised about her pronounciation in the song, but I forgot it because I didn't realise for long time. also for yoohyeon.. I guess would be nice to talk with her in English. also her facial expression is perfect for pog meme lmao.

Siyeon is the secret second best at English. She hasn't spoken a lot on camera but when others speak English Siyeon is looking at them following along, often reacting in English too, and her words blend together in sentences showing more advanced thinking in English rather than thinking in Korean and translating to English word by word. I'd put Gahyeon at 3rd she just comments in English out of nowhere when no one else was. JiU is likely the 7th best in the group.

@@TheGroovyJones I don't know how much they've improved behind the scenes in the meantime, but as of a couple of years ago, I'd actually peg Dami as second-best at English. We don't often see her show it off, but when I met her at a fansign in 2019; up to that point I hadn't really heard her put together more than a few words onscreen, but she was actually able to converse with a fluidity that _really_ caught me offguard... I think Siyeon at the time was good at convincing us that she spoke better English than she did; my takeaway was that she'd remember phrases and learned lines well, and pronounce them flawlessly, but she didn't really seem able to understand much when she listened. SuA and Gahyeon were able to grasp enough words to understand and answer a question, but with a lot of difficulty. Siyeon and SuA, though, I understand are actively taking English classes along with Yoohyeon, and I think they've both improved a fair bit since then. (I don't know if any of the others are studying too.) JiU definitely seems to be the one who struggles most.

@@Brickerbrack A reactor BRISxLIFE went to Korea to play with Dreamcatcher (but I don't want to link it in another reactor's comments, feels like there should be a code about that). Suayeon in full swing, Siyeon in meme mode, Gahyeon and Yoohyeon translating for JiU, Siyeon looks fully connected to what he's saying and interacting in English throughout. I can bump Dami a bit above Gahyeon though she's always been known as one of the higher levels with English- but a British accent in the past I wonder how that is turning out lately with everyone else going American.

I think she did a bit of a spoiler related to a change in her hair color, but who can figure out what it means if anything? For a few weeks she covered her head with a bucket hat whenever she was on camera. On a Vlive she very briefly showed a picture of herself with her head uncovered holding Pie, and you can see a very unusual pattern of black and blond in her hair. She covered part of the picture with her thumb so you can't see what she's wearing. Maybe a costume? I guess we'll see if this means anything when the MV drops.

I am familiar with Mamamoo in almost the same way I was with Dreamcatcher, but I know a bit more about Mamamoo's members and quite a lot of their title tracks! I wouldn't mind checking out the guide anyway though just to add on to what I do know.
