This video is telling the ultimate truth....same things happened to me even before graduating university. I was an architecture student. For 5 years of my life I worked so hard each and everyday for better grade for better accomplishment. I didn't care about my health, I just worked continuously. I worked on weekends, I missed my own birthday party, I didn't have time for my friends and family even for myself. Untill in the last year of my grad life, my health started to fall. In the last semester my health got so bad I thought I won't able to graduate. But somehow I managed to submitted my thesis but the after effects of my health problem that I am still suffering. After fall sick, I realized I just killing myself for some numbers... what's the point if I am dead... what's the point if I don't have me for myself at end. Now I try to live my life for myself and taking care of me first. I realized very lately but now I just don't care about wanting more and more things for my life. I just want to take care of me and just being happy about it that's it. Self love is the best thing what we can get in our life.

I'm sending this to my husband. I want him to know that all his hard work, although maybe too much, is incredibly appreciated and that I will always be there whether we are living under a bridge with our son or living average lives. I don't strive for greatness and I most certainly don't want him to think he is pressured to be our provider. We get by with what we need and we manage to get our son what he likes. I want to graduate and get a job someday to make it easier for him. I like that this video shows that no matter how much hard work you put in, you can't reap the benefits when you're dead. People have many years ahead to be working that hard everyday. Doesn't mean don't work hard and have goals, but be content with what you have ,take care of yourself and acknowledge your merits where it is due. Don't lose sight of what you can have long term from short term distractions and goals.

Then you realize life is not all about work and money, and there are more important things in life apart from work so you began to seek other things that fulfill your inner soul. You began to value your own time and health more and more. This is a really good video that summarizes life after University. There are a few things you left out like how much harder it is for you to meet new people and how you began forming permanent dark circles around your eyes. Lol Thanks for making this video

It's really true - for many of us, we work so hard for what we're chasing after and we don't even look after ourselves. Our young energy and determination may want to achieve more and create more, but we probably lack the wisdom to realise that we're only human and we can take breaks, and we ain't competing with anyone. Such a lovely video to remind myself of the kind of life I really dreamed of for so long.

As an undergraduate who's about to finish, or should I say was supposed to, this video doesn't really do it for me. You can't really escape those all nighters sometimes. Your mental health doesn't mean anything, just as long as those papers get handed in. Also, people say money won't mean anything if you're sick but having no money hurts even more. I've seen how hard it is for people who make just enough to barely make it. I feel the only people who have the luxury of saying, "money is not everything", are the people who own business, and rarely have to think about whether or not they have enoug to last them through the month.

Ideally you'd want both. But trust me, coming from someone who isn't wealthy, I'd much rather have good health than a ton of money. And you should be able to find a way to take care of your mental and physical health ultimately. Yes there are temporary challenges and sacrifices (like all-nighters, etc), but you can't keep pushing forever and not take care of yourself.
