Hi guys! Thanks for tuning in... This week we're going to see if we can tidy up the 1951 Kaiser Special a bit! We'll try to bang out a few of the dents and next week we'll even polish the old brown sedan up a bit! We're off to the annual SVTA tractor pull this time; I hope you enjoy the sights and sounds of all of the vintage farm machinery! Last, it is a trip to the GCFCE to check out what Agents 0826 and 7678 have found! They had to "Bring a Trailer" but it was definitely worth it! What is needed to help nudge Scott on a little is competition by one or two of the other regulars on his show. Perhaps Al, Jim, Myles, Dan or even Dean? All they must do is state that they too are building a '30's style oval track speedster from scrap and assorted parts to challenge Scott. When they're done setting down the intention all they need do is challenge Scott and anyone else to a race around that Oval track, they use to race the model T's

Holy Cow! That ‘Light tidy’ on the Kaiser made a huge improvement in its overall look! I have fallen in love with this car. While it’s low down on your list of projects, I would love to see this car as a routine member of your background shorty updates. Just little things from time to time. Just to keep it as a supporting cast member occasionally on the show. I don’t know how many hours you spent on your little tappity tap tap thump bump routine today, but the display of your body sheet metal working skills is fascinating and a joy to watch. And it now can self motivate around the yard. Huge plus!

It would be fun to find out the back story on the Caddy. My guess is it was someone's pride and joy that passed away and the family didn't want to have anything to do with it and let it rot until one the kids or grand kids decided to peddle it. Loved seeing all the old tractors you never seen in the midwest.

My dad had a '53 Cadillac in 1958. He sold it to a customer at his Mobil station. In late 1961 the transmission was acting up. It was left at our station to have the junk yard take it away. I was just sick. It was still a beautiful car. $150 dollar or so repair wasn't worth saving? He bought a Peugeot 403. He had nothing but trouble with it. Owed my dad lots of money on repairs. We lost him as a customer. My dad hated foreign cars after that. I have a beautiful picture of me at First Communion next to the Cadillac. I would love that black beauty.

The Kaiser is starting to look rather nice. I like the bronzey brown color. The tractor show was a hoot and a holler. Love the old cars, trucks, machinery and, of course, the tractors. My favorite might be that two tone green Dodge Club Cab. Tractor Gnome did quite respectably. That Sixty Special is just amazing! All in all, a great video.

I don't hate that Kaiser AT ALL. It would be easy to brush some white Rustoleum on that roof without the proper prep, then rub it really hard with mineral spirits on a rag a few days later to make it patchy and dull. That's what I did to the rusty, paint-free roof of my '61 Champ. Now everyone thinks it's always been that way and the existing(but awful) light blue everywhere else doesn't look worse for having a nice roof. I sorta' want my own sweet yard-Kaiser

Like you I have found ways to make new paint look old. I have had good results rubbing paint into old paint with a rag like I am polishing it. Most of the paint is rubbed off in the process. It even works to rub black paint into badly oxidized chrome. Scott is the master at bringing life back to old forgotten relics though!

Great show! My uncle had a 77 Dodge ClubCab pickup in green just like the one you showed. He also had an Oliver tractor similar to the one with the yellow grill. Also Grampa had a crank start Farm-All side seat i drove to mow his grass airplane runway. Crazy memories of a 12-14 year old. That CADDY is SWEET!! So sinister/stately all in one.

First things first, thank you Hunnybunny for posting this. I’m still subscribed to the channel and a Patreon supporter. If Dean was around I would have him do a polishing cleanup on the Kaiser. On the Caddy look at the plates on the distributor and generator as there should be serial numbers giving you an idea of production dates, You say you remember 91 like it was yesterday, I still remember like it was yesterday when in 1965 dad was using our 40 series Caddy convertible sedan as a fare weather daily driver. Great show today! I especially love all that old iron at the tractor pull. I painted trade-in tractors for resale one summer. Had a blast cleaning up old tractors and honing my painting skills. Even bought an old VW beetle and gave it an all-over out in the paint shop. Probably about 1977. Those were the days!

The process of paintless dent repair always mystified me,now I know how it's done. 😁😁 The bolinder Munktell name is the BM you see on Volvo loaders etc.They also made some amazing marine engines ,nick named the boom boom Bolinder .

I love the Kaiser! The first car that I ever bought in 1968 was a 1951 Cadillac. Smooth runner, when it ran. I could take the back seat out and put my 65 cc Honda in it. No power steering, no power brakes, and no air conditioning. And it was terrible cosmetically. But it was my first car.😁
