What a chill place. Looks like a different vibe from day to night but relaxed all day.

I counldn't agree more that working in Pai is not feel right. LOL. I've not been to Pai in the last 3 years and I miss it badly. Now I keep watching all the Pai content from everyone. LOL. Thx for sharing.

Did you use to live there or just visited and why have you not been able to go back :) ?

@@walkingestonian I only visit Pai. Normally every single year until Covid and my business is not so great since then. But hopefully Next year in Feb. BTW your temporary home is my hometown.

Pai is nice for a few days. Right now it is as you described but there is a fine line between hippie and weird. Hopefully it doesn’t attract too many weirdos 👻

Well said. For people who specifically do not look to "get away from it all", a few days is enough. But some people have really got stuck there as this slow pace of life is something that they need in their lives at the moment.

There are plenty of people that go there for the weed and mushrooms

Looks like more foreigners than local Thai's. Bummer

That might be the case in the city centre and at the night market, but if you step out of these areas, there are more locals. However, why is it a bummer? There are many places in the world that are popular among the tourists and also that can take advantage of this situation.

@@walkingestonian I hear you but I don't travel the world so be surrounded by non-locals
