I give this... ★★★☆☆ This story certainly is... A story. It does nothing terrible, but takes no advantage of any of its setting to do anything special to stand out among other stories of its genre. The one major problem I have with it I see as personal one. This is the the first time I have ever found a protagonist to be what I can only describe as "the saddest simp protagonist" I have ever seen, and it is infuriating. The MC is betrayed, murdered, and had his name forever sullied in the history books, but he still simps for the queen that orchestrated all of it. He simps so hard he says the queen was in the right to do what she did to him. He simps SO HARD he murders the one person who could perfectly understand everything he was going through, having gone through the same herself at his hands yet forgiving him for all of it, all just because she dared to bring up the question that maybe sir knight did not absolutely find the queen guiltless of all her evil deeds against him. Like holy shit story, if you are going to be like that you could have at least made the beginning more interesting by showing the queen ordering his execution only for him to do it himself to save his queen the trouble! To sum it up, I personally do not like the protagonist.
