@@michaelwhalen8165 its off highway 138 heading towards el mirage lake bed. You will see the cafe there that sub always goes to when they ride there. Its called Baldy Mesa widow maker hill. A girl and her bike described it best when he took her there. " that aint no hill, thats a mountain" ahaha.

Plenty of open fire roads, tight single track and hill climbs. 2 staging areas. If you want more trails, drive up the 138 to miller canyon

Would you give a gear detail for dirt bike riding? I want to get into it but have no idea the gear that's good quality or even the proper stuff.
@Burner-Adventure-Chronicles4 жыл бұрын
Don't skimp on boots or helmet. Get as good as your budget allows. I seem to run a lot of Fox gear: helmet, boots, chest protector and knee/shin pads. I took a pretty good spill a few weeks ago on the trail and am now thinking of getting one of those neck brace things. You have bike shops where you live? Go visit and talk with them. Most work there 'cause they have and love bikes and will be very helpful in getting you started. Are you a member of dirt bike groups on FB that are in your area? Talk with them....also, a lot of them sell good gear after race season...I happened to see a guy in need of a pair of boots and I gave him my old ones.

@@Burner-Adventure-Chronicles dude thank you. And I'm just thinking about getting into it, I sold my old gsxr and I'm looking to use that for dirt! Thanks for your advice, I really appreciate it man. Ill look out for some on sale Fox stuff!
@Burner-Adventure-Chronicles4 жыл бұрын
@@SRRGrant yeah, buddy- SO, you being a sport bike rider, you know that different helmets fit different kinds of heads. So, go try on all brands. I've still got my R1, but don't ride it very much. Think I got all the speed out of my system, but don't want anybody else to ride her... :) But yeah...go get 'lost' in the hills/mtns where you live on a dirt bike....its gonna be a beautiful day
