Nice video. Yes the site was indeed privately owned and managed by Simon Vallance who did an amazing job developing carnon downs to what you see today. His family used to own leverton place a few miles away near threemilestone village and is where we enjoyed many happy holidays in the 80s. I popped in 10 years ago and he remembered me and I said all you need now Simon is a small bar, and he said he was thinking about it. Excellent site.
