This Jeep Is An Absolute DISASTER… Can We Fix It?!

We bought this jeep last year because it was pretty much ready to go wheeling. Since then we have torn it apart multiple times to fix some of the work that was done and this time was the last straw. We tear the body off of the Jeep JK to redo the cross members and the suspension. This is the last part of the original Jeep we bought.

what about the previous manual trans was causing you to break parts?

With a manual trans there is no slip in the drivetrain like a torque converter does for an automatic. Its direct drive so I was breaking front axle shafts constantly.

Remake it in dom 120 wall tube it will take some of the space out that you need, or make a bolt in middle ans keep it striaght across allowing the drop out service

There’s a handful of brands that make crossmembers exactly like that. Could have bought one of theirs or at least taken measurements off them. RPM steering and Hepta MFG to name 2.

That's a lot of bends for a crossmember. I'd take that off and sell it to McDonalds
