I currently finished my Soviet Tech Tree and now I'm planning which nation will be next: China or Japan. Want to have a F-15 or F16 but not as an American nation. And this Chinese J aircraft seems to be fun since they are a MiG variation.

I also want to know what principles do the author use to choose a target for the PL-12. Are there any preferences for low-flying targets or should you take down the F14s first?

Well, I like to focus on low-altitude targets because they usually rely on their altitude and sometimes end up getting killed because of it. Typically, most F-14s go cold after launching their missiles, which gives many chances to defend against your PL-12s

Type1492 radar is actually quite advanced which some degree is similar to an/apg66 during that era compared to relatively primitive N001. It was due to China’s improved relationship with west for them to learn and exchange military technology while isolating Soviet Russia as common interest.

Well, we've reached a point where even the radar on the MiG-23MLD is better than the radar on the Su-27, so I wouldn't be surprised if just about any radar is better than the Su-27's in the game, haha

I should grind for the JH7A for ground battles first... But the J8F just looks so tempting with its 霹雳-12 missiles. Especially after the J8B which is also good, but I wish its radar could have something like an MTI mode found on MiG-23.

At 13.7, it’s also a good aircraft, but it only has 2 functional missiles at this BR, which are the PL-12s. You can get a maximum of 2 kills (in very rare matches) and, if you play extremely well, you might get 1 kill per game. Well, it is playable at 13.7, but it’s not an aircraft for making big frags
