I have always sold Joan Rivers for a good amount. It is good quality costume jewelry, with a known name on it and isn’t being made anymore. I was getting $100 a piece for Joan Rivers 5 or 6 years ago.

I have sold a lot of enamel Disney pins from a lady who collected them. Mars and Valentine is new. Swarovski does not make their beads for the crafter anymore. I'll bet that the handmade seedbead elaborate necklaces that feature swarovski stones and beads are going to be a BOLO someday. Unsigned beauties.

Thank you Margaret - this video prompted me to go back into some unlisted jewelry & I found a Crown Trifari Brooch that has a few tiny rhinestones missing - but upon research I found a recent sale, 1/13- also missing tiny rhinestones- for $49! Listed it fast and it sold in less than 10 minutes for $45! Made my day😀 List, Sell, Ship!

Josh Rivers jewelry was good quality my mom and grandma still have some of her pieces they bought over 20yeats ago on a shopping network but what I noticed on eBay is only some more elaborate pieces are selling for big bucks so not all pieces are a big whoop 🤷🏼‍♀️ never heard of mars and valentine tfs

I have some 1928 pieces that I used to wear in the 1980s, but they are all pins. I call that the pretty blouse era and they called for enhancement. Before the business casual came in!

Just FYI, Joan Rivers Jewelry used to sell fast for me but not lately at all. I have some beautiful Joan Rivers pieces that have been listed for at least 6 months with almost zero interest. I have been stumped by this cause they are priced reasonable. Also I have beautiful Swarovski Swan Earrings that are not selling either. Another one that should be selling that is not is Norman Miller. I just cannot figure it out. Also I have noticed Trifari and Monet are not selling as well either.

Hi!! from my experience joan rivers has always sold for alot of money especially if its an elaborate brooch!! last year i met a friend whos grandmother died and she was addicted to the shopping networks i bought her entire collection of joan rivers nolan miller and kjl brooches and jewelry. i have sold the majority of it and its made me so much money. i have some left over and i am keeping some as well. and alot of the ones i sold i actually regret selling! its very trendy! i know from experience that alot of people from overseas also really enjoy joan rivers jewelry and they collect it as well!

Hi Margaret, I just found your channel and have been an antique and vintage dealer for about 40 years. I have had my own store for about the last 20. In 2010 I sold mostly antiques but I also carried new items and unusual jewelry and I carried Mars & Valentine! A lot of it! I can tell you about the company as I knew the mother and daughter well. The company was Echo of the Dreamer and the owner's name was Margaret! And her daughter's line was Mars & Valentine. They would sell at trade shows like the Jacob javits center in New York and in Atlanta, but they had a beautiful showroom in New York. I was thrilled when I found them, everything was gorgeous and so unique and my customers loved it. They would make molds out of antique pieces to use in their Designs, but the Mars & Valentine line often used actual antique pieces making the pieces one of a kind. They had a line using antique compasses that I had purchased many of!! I would spend thousands when I would go into the showroom. The pieces were absolutely gorgeous. After closing my shop 6 years ago I still have many pieces left. I know the mother had moved to Arizona. I don't know if they are still making jewelry but I know they are still selling pieces. Their displays were just beautiful with such unique and gorgeous designs. If you research echo and the dreamer you will find out a lot about the company as that is the name most people know them by. Everything is set in sterling, using gorgeous topaz and other stones, real shells, Coral, freshwater pearls, etc.. the craftsmanship is exquisite. They would call me and say Maureen we have a new line.. knowing full well I would run to the showroom and drop 10,000 without blinking. Lol. Check them out and definitely keep your eye open for their jewelry.

I love watching this type of content from you Margaret. I remember my first one I watch from you was about 4 years ago with the coffee cups/mugs. I took notes and use my list on my phone and have been doing good with that. I am always looking for Signed or Vitages names that I never heard of. I just started finding and selling for great money is Joan RIvers. I find that after she passed away the market when up after that. I love Selling Swarovski only with the Swan. Love the Styles with Trifari and Crown Trifari. I always look for those at Estate Sales which I find more at. When I find 1928 items, I always look up Sold Comps because it can be great flips.

All I know is when I find Joan Rivers, I keep. I’ve got a magnifying glass necklace with a rhinestone feather pendant and it’s useful to look at stamping on metal when I’m out.

Hi Margaret! I really enjoyed and learned a lot from this video. It just makes sense why Joan Rivers and other 90s pieces are selling. RRL Ralph Lauren vintage southwestern clothing is hot right now and you need the jewelry to pull off the outfit. I’m older and it brings back good memories of what I wore and the jewelry I had. I was looking at puffy silver hearts earrings and necklaces as well as at a bead jewelry for Valentine’s Day. Graduated bead necklaces and we would go and have the silver necklaces made for us .

Joan's 10 year anniversary is coming up this year in the Fall (September) so that might be the great interest. Also so many people loved her design especially with the broach. Some of them are beautiful, love the bee and bug theme.. Love your content, do you ever have to insure the pieces when you ship an antique piece.

They said they arrived damaged and the case was missing. 🤨 I packaged them well and this buyer gave me a weird feeling so I took pictures of how I packaged it before taping it up for my protection but eBay is requiring that I accept the return. I’m skeptical but I guess I’m out of luck. ☹️
