And regarding the "stand by what they believe" comment: I can imagine that it is not easy to go that road when you are already an established creator/actor/musician etc. whos livelihood depends on certain sponsorships, marketing deals and the public opinion. I can understand why there might be a lot of people shying away from the confrontation because they might get "canceled" and lose everything.
