I've been toying around with Irelia/Rek'sai deck where I Black flame Rek'sai and use blade dances to keep summoning it until it levels up and gains overwhelm. I'm not a great deck builder so fine tuning it against meta decks is tricky, but so far I have had fun with it.

Funnily enough I've come to same conclusion and thinking of throwing her out of team. Prediction and card draw gives Rek'Sai and Black flame on turn 5 quite often, now I just need to find a way to survive until level up.

21:42 you can actually see that obliterated units from xerath dont deal nexus damage with impacts, the ten damage to win the game was done only by elusive units. Why they dont deal the damage to the nexus i have no idea but it’s bullshit. You were actually dealing more than 10 with the other impacts (it also means that it couldn’t win even if he could obliterate your non speelshield unit sunny)

Strike checks happen after the game determines combat results. Always worked this way but I think it’s dumb. Level 3 Xerath counters all strike effects from dead units.

@@lanredawodu3333 it is dumb because if a unit dies than it shouldn’t work too. It’s like obliterated units leave the board first than dead units. But the xerath ability says: if an enemy unit would die obliterate it instead which means it should happen in the same time window.

I took out a Conchologist and a Wallop to get 2 Yordles in arms in there as an alternate wincon and it got way better. Super fun deck man thanks for sharing ❤

Ok so I have got to masters with positive winrate using an all in Void Gate. sharing the deck code if you want to try it out: CQCACBQHDQBAMCQPCEBQIBYUDRJQIBIKCIUKOANTAEBACBIKZAAQGBAHBVHWIAQBAQDTOAIFBLJAC P.S if you choose to play note it is not actually that hard to play, just send high cost cards like scout and sivir back to deck in early game, and becarefull to predict BEFORE shuffling nora portals. As this deck can ignore bad cards in hand (discard and predict card) you can play for stall with nora (and win with a lvl 2 sivir) or OTK with elusive double attack scout.
