From my understanding from other videos the dual battery is an agreed upon universal battery standard a number of bike manufacturers are going to. This is for commonality of chargers and batteries between makes. It is already a system in southeast asian countries that allows for public charge banks where a rider can swap batteries from used to full in seconds at a curb side charge station. This battery system is supposed to be similar for Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki and some others IIRC.

two smaller batteries can be charged faster than one big battery. li-ion batteries charge very quickly until 80% so by having 2 batteries you can speed up the charging time.

i feel you… a lot of the times when you’re on the road it’s the noise that alerts you of a motorcycle. people that ride these are gonna have to be extra cautious on these especially when lane splitting.
