Bradley Beal is one of the worst contracts in the league. He only got paid cause he was playing in a terrible Washington franchise. Phoenix was doomed when they made this trade. Getting Jimmy Butler will also not make a difference going to Phoenix. These plus 35 year old guys unfortunately are just a name attached to massive contracts. They don't want this to be a lottery pick so it sets that window to be competitive. 2029: Same thing as 2027 The goal for Utah would be to begin to compete by 2027 and have none of those picks be a lottery pick. Phoenix is kd’s team at this point I don’t think he will get traded but if he doesn’t he’s still pretty much the #1 option over booker, maybe if they have to only keep one they might be stuck with booker over kd because of age, but when kd plays he is that team every time he touches the court, booker and beal are inconsistent
