I have built sunset80 two weeks ago, same as the red one. For me personally, if the pcb can be 1.6, sunset80 can be my personal endgame 80% keyboard no cap. The design is so gorgeous, too much of the flexibility might be the only flaw. Exploring the limit of flexibility is encouraging, but it kinda wastes such a PERFECT design.

As far as I know damascus steel is just folded steel but defines some areas it was produced? Either way the normal tell is when you see two bits next to each other, if they are the same it is faked pattern and not folds. Every bit of damascus is different. Either way the pattern normally only comes up when etched with acid to contrast the folded layers. BTW, love the sound of the board. In a world of tape mods everywhere this is clean and just a nice pop
