@@theeyetriangle look up ryan hart evo 2006. You will see his tekken match and on blasted salami you will see him talk about it. Ive actually had the pleasure to hear this story from him irl were he told me some more details. One such example is that he bought his girl to vegas and after losing he just was completely zoned out at dinner. The girl got mad and said something like "who cares you lost the game, get over it". He said that hurt him pretty badly and made him realise she didnt get him at all. Also the qudans stuff was pretty funny, he actually made a profit from flying to vegas even after losing super early in the tournament.

Law in Tekken 5 also has an auto-parry from his DSS. Once he transitions into DSS, he automatically parries any punch or kick from a high or mid hit level. He had that from Tekken 4 until 6 and then it got removed in Tekken Tag 2, but they buffed his Sabaki parry DSS 1+2 real good.

Completely agree. I have watched very good law players get beaten by novice steve players simply by ss 121 or ss df2. Law requires so much but gives so little, combos were too hard in t5 for law lol

@@user-wj7zo3fe1q I believe this is the game where he got f,f+1, N2, and d/b+2, all of which greatly increased his offensive capabilities. The f,f+1 is THE space control tool, an all-purpose pressure mid that gives follow-ups on hit. I'm pretty sure N2 was sped up to a normal jab speed in this game, allowing for a 2,1 punish combo or great +frames on its own. The addition of d/b+2 gave him a chunky low that was faster than Debug and could easily connect after f,f+1. Of course, d/b+1 and fc,d/b+1 were also great lows that made his poke game dangerous. Had a fantastic command throw game with qcf+1, qcb+2, u/f+1+2, d/b,f+1+2, all with good damage and pretty good oki. He basically had everything you needed to win, but he didn't have some sort of crazy weird "Tekken 5"-esque tool that looks broken by modern standards, and he didn't have great combo damage, whereas the opposite was true playing against him. A good turtle with throw breaking ability could play a very solid, compact, risk free game with him and it would be like trying to punch a metal wall.

If you want a shit character, Lei from Tekken 4 is incredibly terrible: -Shit and ugly combos. No damage -Key moves (DB4,4. DF1) are weakened -Stances are super duper slow with limited range and tracking -Ha-ha step has been heavily nerfed from TTT -No useful CH launcher

@@crack4184 Juggles lead to no wakes, his moves basically do no notable damage (even on CH the bottom tier characters fared better, say Bruce for example had his 1,2,1,2 CH, which was his only saving grace), lack of ws moves, and all around the top tiers, just by simply sidestepping any of his moves could clap him in seconds.
