I would really like to see someone do a review of all the Legendary Upgrades and their value in the current meta.

My short little review of the Hindy's is GET IT. Fires are obscenely short, rudder shift boost is super useful and lower repair times are always fun. I've been accused of cheating multiple times by people who think my DCP is hacked because of how often fires go out onboard.

So yes, legendary mod Khaba is more comfortable but look how often you're playing in that 12-13km range. It's a large portion of the match and then it becomes what's the point of less healing and speed boost if you're within normal Khaba range most of the time.

LM Khaba has more DPM. Yes I agree both are viable. LM Khaba doe not allow you to deal better with anything the normal Khaba struggles with (Stalin, Petro, Venezia, Thunderer ...).

If you like the legendary Khaba, you'll love Zorkiy, it's basically a Khaba with the legendary built-in plus (now) 10km torps and the option of burst fire for those times when you're disengaging or an enemy is about to get into cover. Plus, playing Zorkiy has made me fall in love with Khaba all over again. Just...not smoke... for the love of god, take the heal.

5.30 stock reload on the Zork vs 5.0 on Khaba ... so no ... not even close ... Khaba with LM deals much more damage. The only advantage of the Zork is basically Tashkent gun range ...

MalteseKnight did a similar Khaba video with legendary mod where he just completely ditched steering gears mod for propulsion. The steering is so horrendous that its not even worth it. The extra propulsion combined with the engine boost may surprise you how well you can throttle juke some shots.

Legendary mod for battleship farming. Propulsion+40%rudder for everything else. Edit: marceau and kleber will get stomped if both players are the same skill every single time, the only dd that can actually hurt a Khaba is elbing with ap, otherwise they only scratch the paint at best, this thing doesn't care about dpm nonsense, no matter how much it is, doesn't matter if you can't pen the deck 25mm or 50mm belt and plates, the only HE spammer that can do something is harugumo and that only at ranges below 9km, otherwise it won't hit or shatter.

Range and situation are critical. At long range, Khabarovsk can take Harugumo because it won't take many return hits. At close range, different story. Likewise if Khab jumps Ragnar inside of 10km, it won't go well. And Khabarovsk among islands can't dodge.

Yeah, legendary mod on Khaba running acceleration juking at range with heals is the way to go. With subs able to spot for you, it also can take some of the pressure off that formerly would require you to contest caps.

doubt i will ever get any of legendary mods as WG keeps putting more and more ships in the RB to get first. it seems like all the new ships are either going to the RB or steel ports, with an occasional coal ship. i asked them about the FXP ships and they replied back that they are not putting any future ships in the game for FXP.

I have khabarovsk but never played it, no modules on it and no commander....its the downside of xmas crates. You end up with lots of ships you can't afford to equip. Nor do i have the legendary mod. I'll get around to it eventually i guess.

My favorite flank ship with legendary mod to play. All DPM commander skills. No concealment. Detectability of 9.7km. Play her like a CL. Three games equals three containers each and everyday! Too easy.

To be honest, I really did like the Russian DD line but I only got to Tashkent before I finally decide to quit the game. While it is pretty much a long range gunboat, they really suffers from DD knife fight with their horrible rudder shift. Legendary mod put the Khaba plays just like Kiev and Tashkent playstyle, using speed and range to dodge incoming shells while denying push from the enemy side. I agree with you LM for Khaba did make a huge plus, essentially a Tashkent with bigger armor

If you like Khaba try Zorky, it is sooo much better (better range, fire chance, rudder shift, torps, "unlimited reloadbooster" and even has aa) Where Khaba feels like T9.5 Zorky is T11.5.

Khaba is maybe my favourite destroyer precisely because it doesn't feel overpowered and unfair. You get exactly what skill you put into your play .

Thx for this one. I never considered getting the Kaba but with the new coupon arriving soon, and this playstyle fitting my own quite well, this is actually a very realistic option. I have a few RB points left over from getting the Ohio so it might all come together. It's either this or the Forrest Sherman. And I like DD's that are FAST.

How is the zorky? Should I grind it if I have kleber already?

@@skellysux has a heal plus the reload is great, with conceal expert can go down to 7.9 km so somewhat like Kleber but you have 63knt 10km torps that do decent dmg. It's exactly as old Khaba but you have the burst that can pen 32mm. So some lower hp JB you can just smash it to kill it out.

I remember surprising a broadside ibuki at about 7km. Khaba ap inflicted 24k hp and killed ibuki while only receiving 7k dmg. I think the Ibuki only fired 2 salvos. Khaba was racking up 5 or 6 citadels each salvo. Khaba used to be the Elbing 4 years ago.

u can just give a full broadside and go back and forth spamming ur W and S keys no one can hit u, no need to run in full speed and turning left and right while farming ships

This is the only way I run my khaba. The amount of Dakka you get from using the legendary mod pisses people off. i got told by quite a few people to go fuck myself after I burned them to the ground. Its hilarious. If you can work around the negativity that encompasses having the legendary mod, then you should have no issues. Khaba as of today is my most played destroyer in the game and the most played ship would be the Zao. (Im an oddball type of person when it comes to ships. I make ships that no one likes, work to my advantage)

I was playing my Khaba. I was broadside and forgot about the Venezia. He 1 shotted me essentially. So yes. Venezia is dangerous. Also would you consider this a light house build for your Khaba?

Yeah the gun reload for kleber is a 80% reload I got it and reset the line so I didn't need to equip it good concealment but the reload of the guns is such a dpm nerf

Khaba seems more consistent while kleber really relies on the reload boost. I only have kleber so I can’t speak much on the comparison but kleber is very much a high risk/reward ship

Khaba's are for killing destroyers, backing up destroyers, these kinds of videos are bad example, still fun to watch though.

Watch the video again, and pay attention to his explanation of using AP to set up the target for cross shots. Khabarovsk is also very difficult to ignore. I've drawn 3 ships off the enemy team just trying to shut me down. Jean Bart wasted their time chasing me while my team pushed the flank.

@@j_taylor Khaba AP can indeed be used against Battleships, especially from the side, only do this if enemy BB is firing at your teammates. For ranked play it's best to "farm" and "ambush" and "assault" destroyers, this gives the most XP.

I mean, this seems good from a selfish, soloplayer mind-set. But are you really Contributing to your team farming a single battleship for an entire game and not even being able to kill it solo?
