There are some things thermal will never be able to do that a simple light can. If you don't believe it, watch this show.

You guys have the best hunting show on TV. There should be an Academy Award for the show you guys put on

Some methods work better in areas than other methods. I used lights when I first started predator hunting in the early 80's and did ok, but my success greatly improved with the use of NV, DNV and Thermal optics. I don't think I'll ever go back to using lights, but I'm going to dust off the spotlight and give it a try for old times sake.

I appreciate what you guys do. The video you get is amazing. But our coyotes run from lights here

think you should watch more of their stuff he explains that.

Another great video. I bought Wicked lights because of you. ScanPro is a great addition. I have used green when hunting hogs. Keep up the great videos.

I would love to know your light set up! I have had great success with hunting with thermal. However y’all’s combo is awesome and I’d love to make it that portable/bright

When you're marketing thermal's they're the best, when your marketing lights they're the best.

Easy thing you just pointed out. Night Crew is the best.

The scanpro is under recall on Wicked website and not available on any of the listed retailers websites, or anywhere online. What’s up with that? Is it worth holding out for or is the Predator Tactics headlamp good enough?

When is this light going to be released? Do you have a link?

Here in CA, the coyotes just sit and stare at our IR lights. It’s time to change tactics.

Did you guys partner with an app? I just saw a hunting game ad using your footage

First rule of hunting. Hide your silhouette..

But thermal hunters avoid backlighting themselves. When you turn the light 90 degrees away while searching. They can see you.

We use to use spot lights an I swear they would scare off the animals...

Yea but in rolling hills you dont have that skyline so just thermal or nv is the better option in the east coast
@nightcrew31154 ай бұрын
The skyline in your area has nothing to do with the fact that lights are the only thing that can take their sight away. It also doesn’t dictate whether lights will work in your area.

@@nightcrew3115yeah idk about all that light stuff. I just bought nv and thermal stuff and it is so much more productive. There's a lot of coyotes around and after deer season they're extremely timid, and there's an abundance of food. I guarantee there's a lot of them you're not seeing that won't come out that you would pick up with a thermal
@toddk13773 ай бұрын
@@Yfzmarine They use thermal too, watch their other videos, one scans with a light, the other scans with a thermal.

So what light does an average hunter need?

Here’s a legit question for you. I know you guys hunt rural land in texas that usually has light pollution from major cities in the background. In this scenario, you’ve shown time and again the light works. But what about no light pollution and no moon nights? I’m taking real dark rural places with no cities within an hour drive. Would you go just thermal then? I think your ambient light level dictates your hunting approach.
@nightcrew31154 ай бұрын
Actually the existing light in our area has nothing to do at all with what we do with coyotes or predators in general with lights. In fact we’ve been to the most desolate areas in not just Texas but other states as well and shown it works there as well.

Dude hunting pitch black away from all towns I still run a light. Like they said in the second episode in season one. Having a light helps you find that much faster than you would with a thermal
@huntersmark9174 ай бұрын
I mean, there are people don't know how to hunt and people who know how to hunt. Thermal doesn't make the difference and neither does hunting with lights. You have to learn the basics first. The things listed at the beginning are just basic hunting mistakes.

It's illegal in ND to use lights more than 6v. White light is absolutely illegal. 👎🏼

Does your thermal blind the coyotes you hunt?

Maybe it's just me, but I only hunt where I can't be seen. Doesn't matter if you're hunting squirel or gunmen.
