@@johntheintrovert basic summary, the core 2.1 does 80 second dabs but has the worst atomizer the jcvap pockety is the smallest and cheapest but with the best battery and the bomb is the closest thing you can get to a carta 2. (for clarification there are some cheaper but worse ones but i meant if you're looking for the 140-200 range)

So I'd agree on the hot knife situation EXCEPT they're super convenient for dabbing sauces. I feel like I struggle getting sauce off of a normal dab tool, but when you get a little heat they just slide right off. Granted, I usually go for crumble or budder typically but occasionally you gotta pick up the weird strain that only comes in a sauce form.

They don’t impact your precious terps if it’s just warm enough to slide off but not vaporize or melt. I just tap my hot knife once a second and rosin/batter eventually slides off with minimal melt.

Love what Bomb is bringing to the table for a decent price tag!! And sure it’s other options out there for less or more than this…but this fits nicely with the Core 2.1, Duvo, DabTech elite pro (aka gpro), DTV5, or Pockety grouping. At least those are the ones I would spend my money on. *side note* Dr Dabber XS and Puffco Peak are solid choices too

I know you don’t like the dab x go but I think you just haven’t used it enough. The way the atomizer works is way different .It’s also the only electric dab that you can use on a regular bong with no attachments.

These are the "temp" settings. Its preference but I'm a low temp gang so 2.7 is good enough

Hey cewpins, did you hear about the LA times article that came out a few days ago about how they re-tested a bunch of California cart brands and found thousands of times the amount of pesticides that are even legally allowed to be in them? The article is actually really shocking in showing how useless the regulators are and how much of a grey market the legal market still is. Even when they knew a brand had that much pesticides in it, it took them 8 full weeks to issue a recall, by that time all of the product was almost sold out. The labs that are truthfully testing and reporting their findings are losing business to shady testers that give high THC percentages and always pass pesticide checks. Growers are even complaining about people regularly wanting to buy their moldy product in order to turn it into carts instead of throwing it away. I think this is something that every smoker should know about, especially because this is the stuff that's ending up in legal dispensaries. One of the only reasons I go to them is because of the guarantee that it is safe, but the regulators are failing us and I feel that is no longer the case.

I personally think the best all around rig for anyone would be the carts 2 you talk about the things this one had and didnt have and every single one is something the carta has. Carrying case check, LEDs you can customize check, an app check, large atomizer check only issue i have ever had was the battery which you can hit the thing while charging so its a nonissue and the glass quality but then again theres plenty of artists making tops for cartas that are better quality
