Actually, most human beings are damaged to greater or lesser degree and Thai women seem to be particularly damaged. Of course, I think you are thinking of something entirely different than me when you use that word. You seem to think that it means emotionally fragile due to be hurt by someone whereas I am talking about a person's psychological makeup in general. Basically, I’m talking about being f*cked up in the head as we all are to a degree. The thing is that women in Southeast Asia, and Thai women in particular, are extremely emotionally immature. This means that they often exhibit behavior which while considered normal in a small child, is decidedly abnormal in an adult. Because of this they can have wild mood swings and become very irrational at the drop of a hat among other things. This is never genetic of course and it comes entirely from being raised in a dysfunctional family environment. So don’t let all the happy smiling faces in Thailand fool you as to what really goes on beneath the surface. As for this girl in particular all I can say is that she is probably not the type you would want to get involved with. I’m not saying that she is a bad person or anything, I’m just saying that you would likely never be able to have a happy and drama free relationship with her. I’m also not saying by the way that she did not genuinely love her ex-boyfriend (assuming he was a real boyfriend and not just a sugar daddy). In fact, I know many, many Thai women, including many bar girls, who fell head over heels for a western boyfriend and who were emotionally devastated for a very long time after the relationship ended. In any case I would be weary of that fact that this girl thinks she needs 50,000 a month to live even though this is 5 times more than the average uneducated Thai girl makes working a non-sex related job in Thailand. And if she really does not have kids then she does not need much money at all to help out her parents. In her defense though Thai girls are often raised like cattle in Thailand. In other words, they are raised in the hopes that they will turn out to be prized specimens that will then bring a big financial return on investment to the family. And Thai women from the poor parts of Thailand often have a lot of pressure put on them by the family to bring in money to support them - money which sadly is often squandered by the family. It’s the kind of intense pressure that no child should ever be forced to endure. By the way, I’m surprised that the interviewer did not ask how she managed to move to Phuket when she was only ten years old, particularly since she said her parents still live in her hometown. Did she come with older siblings back then or is she just older than she claims to be? I had originally guessed that she was about 30 though so I don't think she is any older than that. She most likely already had some family living there.

First of all, the term “knight in shining armor” is WAY over used and misused in both KZbin videos and in the comments section. The truth is there are typically two types of guys in these discussions. There are the bitter hardcore cynics who think that all bar girls are heartless evil con artist, and then there are the types who feel sympathetic towards them and their plight. But just to be clear, the later usually do not qualify as “knight in shining armor” types. In any case neither one of these types typically knows what the hell they are talking about when it comes to Thailand and Thai bar girls or Thai women in general. Furthermore, pretty much everything that comes out of their mouths is simply a knee jerk reaction. Basically, neither one of these types is any good at reading people at all and so they both just make blind blanket assumptions about people rather than looking at each individual on a case by cases basis. Speaking of reading people, as someone who is very good at it, I can tell you that most people really suck at it. For example, I cannot count the number of times I have watched celebrity interviews on KZbin and then noticed in the comments section that some people thought the person being interviewed was offended or upset in some way when in fact that person was perfectly fine. So people just suck at reading people. It is true of course that there are certain types of men - those of a certain phycological makeup - who will always let women take advantage of them no matter how much you educate them to the potential dangers - and these types should probably not go to Thailand. It is also true the bar girls can size you up pretty quickly and figure out whether you can be taken advantage of or not. That being said however this phycological makeup I spoke of has little or nothing to do with whether or not you are the knight in shining armor type. Anyway, I unfortunately do not have time to write 50,000 words on the inner workings of Thai bars girls and Thai women in general. I also don’t have time to go into the f*cked up mentality of the typical Western expat in Thailand (those from both camps). I can tell you however that most Thai women - bar girl or not - are extremely emotionally immature, and this can make for a very volatile relationship.
