One thing to mention that in order to get Taihang, you have to save tokens, complete missions and wait until 14.2 update where you will get more combat missions to get the adventure tokens and then you convert all those tokens into ming one's from this patch and from the 14.2 patch and spend something like 20k coal, 100k free xp and 10M credits to finally get him for free(by WG standards FREE). Very clear and easy design WG? Right?

I think they’re making things convoluted so that yes people have to spend real money, but also the fact that the commander seems very powerful and it being free is a HUGE giveaway to players considering the other unique commanders are around 135000 coal - this one is free! The idea I can think of is that they want people who have brain cells to actually be rewarded with the powerful commander. They may not implement this commander until next year or worse.. I see this as a mini dockyard for a free unique commander. I was very displeased with the incheon event but I suppose it’s more rewarding to spend that same amount of money on next years Santa crates and possibly get it there.

Finally someone explaining it. I mean without this i was trying to figure out how to get the captain…and i wasn‘t able to 🤷‍♂️ And WHY did they do this?! Just to hide the real money cost if you choose to pay?!? Why not simply make one currency token, then put the ship and the captain there with the costs, and a disclaimer telling you that the tokens are enough to get one of them for free!

Well in my experience so far, it wasn't confusing, all i did was hover over both currencies in the armory and it tells you what they are for, how to spend them and how to get them, but it's clear a lot of players don't like to read ever.

I think atleast if I understood the dev blog correctly. 14.1 gives enough for the dutch commander but not for the Taihang. If you want the Taihang for free you'll have to save until 14.2 for the second set of missions. Atleast that's how I understood it.

Just to be on the safe side, just get those finest containers to get the legendary commander but then you cannot get Taihang. For the Taihang, you convert all the tokens to ming one's and also save until 14.2 for the second set of missions but then after getting Taihang you will not going to have enough to complete the collection.

You have to spend dubs until you get the bundle for that submarine or you might be either lucky enough to get it in the first couple of bundles or unlucky enough to get it after buying all the bundles.

If you want to get commander, do NOT convert any tokens and buy those finest containers. If you want to get Taihang, while also keeping in mind 20k coal, 100k free xp and 10 million credits, then convert to ming tokens.

50 000 exp for 20 tokens so 500k exp for 200 tokens and basically 4 million free EXP for 800 tokens to buy the t10 ship almost nobody has 4 million free exp sitting around unless they were spon sored by WOW like streamers and such who just gets unlimited resources to buy every ship and get every commander to lvl 21 just to make more vidoes of the game and get in more paid customers to their game. and 5m credits for 20 tokens, 50 Million credits for 200 tokens and 200 million credits for the ship, and thats just the ship and ntn else and the ship isn't even that good, this is 4X the cost of a super BB for a medium ship. WOW just puts everyone on this new "adventure" only for everyone to realise, "oh I have to pay money to actually get anything here" its really crazy how terribly bad this is. I almost think people are rather walking away from the game and paying for this rather than spending anything on it at this point cause most steamers make it obvious that WOW is just taking all ur money without giving u anything real back. paying houndreds of dollars which is more than an AAA game itself, just for "1" item in a game is just wild. I spent 90 dollars or so in this game one time for one dubloon bundle to get a T8 premium just to like, get my account and game going and the grind cause the grind in here takes ages. I got 1000 hours in wow soon and I don't even have 5 T10 battleships yet as I run out of credits, and I got over 1000 matches played just in the ATAGO alone just to farm as much credits as possible. and yes I did mess up on the christmas gift cause the gift was like this hidden little box on the screen, wow intentionally made it difficult to know that there was some kind of gift cause last one i pressed was just cosmetics for my background and so I guessed the rest was similar, maybe my mistake despite playing for 2-3 weeks in december and yet found out the first day it was taken away that u could get a free T10 ship. even so, the grind in here is awfull without a premium acc and I got one myself and yet its still hideously long. all from 50k to 200k credits per game after repairs in T10 and that means 10 games = 2m credits, 100 games = 20m credits and u need like 40m credits to farm a new tech line and get a new T10 ship which means 200 games or so which is just wild and that's with premium acc.

Out of interest, re new ships, who thinks it fair, that wg 'public-testers' now division up with two or three entirely unknown new op ships, but on a single team in randoms? This has happened a few times , and the flank and team has folded rapidly, despite having pretty good players. When I simply asked the pt guy if they honestly really thought this was fair and spirtsmanlike, I was told that my team and I had 'skill issue' and 'must. Practice more' (against the 'nda'). How helpful. How brave. How arrogant? How wg.

Don't think you can get the ship for free. The conversation rate is 5 for 1. And currently each web mission one gives 280 (granted I've only completed the first two). So unsure where the rest comes from after spending for the 60 from resources.

There are series of missons, which give in total about 3k tokens (85% of ship cost). Remaining 15% you get from obtaining tokens for free XP, credits and coal.
