Hey I know I'm a little late responding but when I was visiting the the rez every morning, I noticed some high school kids that would come down to the spillway just before dawn. They used flukes, white/pearl color. They had giant round floats with the lure about 6-in deep and would reel in nice stripers. I managed to catch three after mimicking them lol.
