This lure is LOCO for Freshwater Fishing! ZX43 v Loco Prawn!

Decided to put the ZX 43 head to head with the LOCO Prawn to see which on is the winner for best lure. Does it even really make a difference. The results may be surprising. The best winter lure at the moment for Freshwater Fishing.... Is the Eco Gear ZX 43. I caught Yellowbelly or Golden Perch and Murray Cod on these lures. I have caught close to 500 fish on these lures and they continue to be very effective in Freshwater Dams or Lakes. Yet to try them on Australian Bass.

I brought some knock off ZX30s off eBay, 3 for $10. Took the yak out on a local lake and thought I’d give them a go. Ended up with 9 Yellowbelly. Not bad for cheapie knockoffs

I’ve lost a couple from different ZXs but not usually 2 in 2 catches. I’ve also caught close to 200 fish on one ZX and haven’t lost a single hook. I don’t think any of them are 100% though. Just luck I haven’t lost a hook yet on it.

Pro lure 80mm paddle in sardine that is blue white get one normal try it here is the kicker go to a news agency look for note book has plastic cover in a4 get the 80mm paddle tail mark tail or shape out then stick on back of tail 2 part resin not super glue found frog green in plastic best then repeat cut smaller by 2mm then 3 time then test watch what happens lol .

When trying to revive fish, move them forward through the water to push water through their gills. Don’t just put them in the water and hope they breathe.

There are so many almost 1 to 1 identical rip offs of the ecogear zx lures on alie express for literally 1 or 2 aus dollars. None that can match the manufacturing quality perfectly though, and none that come close for bream to the Ecogear Breamer vibe. Fortunately or unfortunately a lot of Aussie tackle companies just repackage the alie express rip offs then claim they have designed them themselves etc. Not just with metal vibe lures too… that is capitalism though - and there are some very legit Chinese tackle companies now designing their own lures for their local market that are high quality and still a bargain compared to the absolutely ridiculous cost of tackle in Australia (thank you importers that make it difficult for tackle shops to be cheap; and for those tackle shops like certain The C…. Angler members that charge criminal prices on certain JDM tackle that they directly and then complain when people buy online). Anyway, as to metal vibes… if they are similar enough they will still catch fish, whether a ‘Proud Aussie’ company rebranding cheap Chinese rip offs as their ‘own tested designs’ or (in Aus) expensive JDM tackle (that is 1/3 to 1/2 cheaper in Japan when you visit). Angler skill still is the real difference! Thanks for an unbiased lure test. Cheers.
