Makes you proud to see a world class fisherman having a ball on the banks of the Derwent. A river that has gone from being toxic to now having regular whale sightings. Love your style Lubin and I’ll see you on the weekend 🤙 Grant

Thanks for actually showing what lure size and gear you use. Everyone else misses this info but it’s pretty much the one thing we need.

It's unreal! So surprised at the quantity of fishos there. Did not bump into any other land based or kayak fishos.

i fish this exact spot everyday after work and have pulled some very nice bream and really good models of sea running trout, i think i better have a dab before work by the looks of that

I have fished Bedlam Walls a few times with no success, I will try employing some of your techniques next time. One thing I always notice with right hand retrievers is the constant changing of hands and manual flicking of the bail arm, I taught myself at a young age to left hand retrieve and what a difference after a long days fishing, half the movements required. Great vid, enjoy your content, cheers

Hopefully you can land one next time! I wind left hand on all my fly fishing reels but find right hand more comfortable conventional fishing. Thanks for watching the channel!

Gday mate, heading up to Tassie next year around jan-feb, I’ve never done much fishing in tassie, is this salt or fresh? And what will I catch around that time? Love the content mate and keep up the gr3at work!

Silly question, would you keep and eat a bream out of there?
@thefullscale-fishingadvent29172 жыл бұрын
Not a silly question mate. I probably wouldn’t just because they are such a long lived fish and the Derwent has also had its troubles with pollution but is getting way better now 👍🏻

Love your work Lubin. It's always great to see how you're constantly analysing the conditions and the water you are fishing when the bite is tough. Great video once again. 👏👏👏 p.s will you be returning to Port Pirie any time soon to target those blue nose brutes?

This might be a really stupid question but how do you avoid getting snagged? I’ve been to that exact spot a few times now and haven’t caught a bream yet but I’ve got plenty of snags. Great video btw!
@thefullscale-fishingadvent29172 жыл бұрын
Not a stupid question at all mate! I try to always stay in contact with the plastic as much as possible and use a high rod angle when it’s shallow, always use the lightest jig head I can get away with, make sure you practice the “flick trick” which will unsnag the lure 8 out of 10 times, try to fish with a light touch - bream bites are unmistakable so don’t set the hook unless you know it’s something striking for, and try tying an FG knot for the leader which won’t break nearly as often as any other leader knot. I still get snagged from time to time and loose the odd lure but hopefully these tips help you out. Thanks for watching the channel 👍🏻
