the buff is calculated differently for every character, it's also the same for CTP of insight, captain marvel get's 24% damage increase because of her passive, but if you switch to another character in the same team it goes back to 20%.

The only thing I would disagree with, is I don't think the game checks for which character has more instinct, and then use that as the multiplier, I think that it is purely dependent on the character being buffed. That is, even if they have a lower instinct than the support character. I think that the instinct multiplier is completely independently calculated for each character that is receiving the support buff.

I think it makes sense to be this way. It's like Cap Marvel T2 passive, when u use a support with her, her T2 passive increases its effect but it's not her buff in reality, it is the support buff.

Cynicalex casually staying silent on one of the gamebreaking hot topics of mff: Sentry T4 and Possible Dark Avengers Update. Edit: Cynicalex has ofc talked about it but would be nice to see his reactions to the official deal. Like people react differently imo when things are speculatively mentioned and when they are actually official. There is a pretty simple explanation. You should look at those type of artifacts as another leadership or passive that applies to all allies. As an example, when you have a lead that give X% all attack, the attack isn't calculated based on the leader but based on the each individual character's attack. Same goes for all artifacts that apply to all allies or a specific group. Hope this makes sense.

I'm checking and I'm not seeing it. Are you sure this doesn't just apply once the characters are in game? Else little too late. One of the required goals of an event for tokens is yeah, enhance artifact successfully and something had to be chosen for the deed. I hate that goal btw since it eats my essence I use for gambling to get artifacts in the first place.

Cynicalex logic and theory are incorrect. Support instinct is only used for itself and every other character will use their own. With his example there are two possible theory’s 1) takes the higher instinct (his) 2) always take instinct of ally being applied to (Luna in his example) regardless of who is higher. Only way to test and eliminate one is to test when the support has higher instinct than the applied character. So i have a 1 star quasar with total instance of 203 and my tier 2 m’baku with 927. My Quasar has 3% ignore dodge without M’Baku artifact being applied Quasar - 203 x .003 = .609 M’Baku - 927 x .003 = 2.781 Quasar total ignore dodge is 13.61% which means Quasar instinct is one being used.

I understand the video but it’s a bit depressing that this is the content we have to resort to just days ahead of the anniversary update. They have severely dropped the ball when it comes to getting us excited for this update. And I’m sorry but revealing we are getting T4 Sentey via a shadow in one of their event posts just is not enough to get me excited. That is a single t4 and the one most of us expected anyway. Also it’s a native T3 getting a T4 which is for sure going to be ultra expensive which are the only updates they put effort into.
