Thank you for your honesty and always putting your subscriber's wallets first over the pursuit of PR, affiliate codes, sponsorships or propping up a product just because it's your acquaintance's collab or a small indie brand. Unfortunately, that's sort of rare these days. That's why I always try to remember to support you whenever possible. I think it was probably just a finicky green. I had a dark purple from an ace beaute palette leave a bald patch on my eyes even though I tried it with 2 different primers and 3 different times. Sometimes it's just the product that is difficult to use.

I feel bad whenever I have issues or struggle with a palette - I worry it’s something that I’m doing wrong or just a formula I don’t like to work with and I don’t want to hurt a brand with my bad review. But I try to be fair and give all the info so y’all can decide for yourself if it’s an issue for you or a formula you may like 💚💚💚

@@KatieMarie I think you always say it in a fair, balanced and respectful manner which is good for both the consumer and brands. If an eyeshadow doesn't work for me after the third time with me trying a different primer or method, I chuck it out to it being a bad eyeshadow. I think for the most part almost all of my eyeshadows are at least average with a few subpar palettes in my collection.😆

I have their first palette, the Druid, and I like it. I must say the Druid palette and 2 of my adept palette have the same shade. Indie brands are just reusing the same shades and I am going to really scrutinize my purchases. The yellow and green are becoming the new pop of blue, these colors are in so many new palettes.

That green reminds me of the issues of the moss green color in subculture. Can be frustrating but then everything can't be perfect and struggle builds character, lol! Besides that everything was lovely. I appreciate all the hard work you put into each of your videos, they are so entertaining!

Yeah, a lot of brands are coming out with these formulas - sometimes the mattes are good other times they’re okay. This one just wouldn’t cooperate with that green

This is a neat colorstory but I could probably dupe all the shimmers by now and I'm a shimmer girl over a matte palette... that green really did give you a hard time... pretty bummer when 1 matte of very little isn't good... and im sure it's even more sad it's a green and you love greens... overall they eye looks were very pretty for each of the looks

Yeah, this shimmer formula is incredibly beautiful, but not too unique amongst the indie makeup brands, so you could probably dupe the shimmer shadows 💚

Yes I agree - Even tho it’s just one shadow that doesn’t work well, it’s the green one and it kinda bums me out for the whole palette

I think it's that one shade of green, like you said all the rest of them go on great except for that one color, your allergies shouldn't have anything to do with the applying part just when you have allergies they just tear away you know what I mean but not the applying part is the color most definitely
