@@Peachy232 The elbow. His only two air ok drives are Second Gear (the elbow) and Fake Out (the fast fall). Hit 'em with the air to air, combo into j236HXX, then cancel into either one of his grounded drivers as necessary.

Buu is bad if you know how to fight him. Even if you get mixed it’s not even good damage. I love buu but when his whole kid can be beat out by armor moves I can’t call him great

@@JustRelaxKid That's the thing. It doesn't matter if it's low damage. He arguably has the most disgusting mix-up options in the game from _anywhere_ on screen. He'll hit you a lot more than pretty much any other character will. He has sneaky resets that _can_ lead to big damage and his stagger and neutral game is great on top of that. I don't see how armor moves beating out his moves makes him bad when you can say that about basically every other character. You can armor through all of Vegito's or SSJ4 Gogeta's moves, but I'd be shocked if anyone called _them_ bad.

There's a reason that crit builds in most RPGs aren't considered optimal; having to flip a coin to secure your win condition is usually worse than having higher guaranteed damage off a touch. The mix and resets _can_ lead to big damage, but the better your opponent knows the matchup the less that coin toss is in your favor. It still *is* in your favor, but it makes the tradeoff more questionable. Vegito and SSJ4 Gogeta aren't trying to reset people. Armor and invul moves are really strong versus reset based characters unless they have ways to bait/beat it without compromising their gameplan. Which, afaik, Buu struggles with in comparison to other characters with resets like Videl and 17.

@@Nofixdahdress Sure, the low damage kind of matters, but you're going to be put in situations where you'll get hit far more often than against other characters. It's not even a coin flip with Majin Buu. If you get hit by his fat throw, he has an ungodly amount of mix-up options _on_ _top_ of having the option to reset you. He doesn't even need to reset you if he doesn't want to. He's not a dedicated reset character. It's just another layer when he already has 100 layers to watch out for. Matchup knowledge isn't a good argument because by this point, _everyone_ knows Vegito and Z Bully and 21 and they _still_ get the job done with ease. Everyone knows Vegito's same-side sword mix, but they get hit by it all the same. Wawa got hit by it at least three times in the same set against Yasha in the Europe regional finals. Armor and invincible moves are strong against _all_ characters. As I already said, if Buu doesn't want to reset you, he can just take the ridiculous mix instead and if you're a good player, you can just bait out their DP's or whatever they try to do to stop it.
