Two things: Number 1. As someone with SPD, a huge part of it being completely repulsed by and shutting down at most physical touch, I would've walked off set. I use myself and my SPD as an example here, but regardless, a model should not be touched without consent, I'm just using my specific condition as an example. It's a nope from me and any professional. Number 2: So what she likes control? Hearing his little rant about this ticked me off. Again, as someone who cannot stand the thought of not being in control, some people - not just models - aren't comfortable with being out of control of a situation. She's just supposed to trust him? When he was literally grabbing a hold of and yelling at her? I wouldn't trust him either. Again, would've walked off set. They need to fire this man, I'm sure his behavior falls under some kind of work-place violation.

Im not a model, but im a hoop dance performer. I did a photo shoot once that left me kinda traumatized..... I still think about it and feel awful. The photographer was well known and knew i wasn't a "model" but gave me no direction. Then, when reviewing the photos, he told me the whole thing was basically a waste of time. I DO take an ok picture, but my confidence was never the same. *it didn't help that it was a topless shoot

As a photographer, I’ve been told many times during every course and specific workshop I took part in that, whenever you deal with any kind of subject (whether it’s a professional model or any other customer), you NEVER make them feel uncomfortable during photoshoot. And the reason is because, if you either show any kind of disdain either on your face or on certain behaviors or if you address the subject abruptly whenever you feel dissatisfied with the result, their performance would be negatively affected by it and they would feel extremely uncomfortable working with you. And that goes without saying how such behavior would affect them negatively on a mental and emotional level when certain boundaries are being crossed, as shown in this case. Actions and behaviors such as this, aside from being extremely wrong from a moral standpoint, are also extremely detrimental for your reputation as a professional photographer. And all I can say is that Yu Tsai should consider himself extremely lucky to be working either on ANTM or SMM and be allowed to act the way he does (despite how wrong it is on various levels). Because if it wasn’t for it, I highly doubt he would have a career at all if he’s ever allowed to behave the same way on a more professional environment.

Yu Tsai is even worse in Asia's Next Top Model. On Season 4 during panel one of the models asked him very politely to stop yelling at the models on the photoshoots. He then loses it and continues to humilliate and mistreat the model. Yu Tsai is the worst.

It is disgusting how he violated Hannah's personal space, the way he speaks to the models and puts them down, how he takes credit for their ideas and pushes this narrative that HIS ideas are so good... Quỳnh Anh did ALL of the posing herself, I cannot believe he took the credit and then Cindy ended up feeding into it. These girls deserve so much better. I think Yu Tsai's physical corrections would been a lot less jarring if he would have asked if he could do so, but the fact that he put his hands on Hannah in the manner that he did was UNACCEPTABLE! And the fact that NO ONE said anything while he is forcefully grabbing her is disgusting. Where is HR on set? They literally treat these models SO BAD. I had such high hopes for this show that it would take notes on what ANTM did wrong and show the world how it's supposed to be done but oh how I was let down.
