In history of leaderahip such kind of genius person will appear to this world once in a century . He was a gift from GOD to the ppl of black in general and ppl of Africa in particular. Whites do not want to see such kind of black leader to exist in the planet .

Good show, in spite of the numerous articulation slips. Tom Mboya would have taken this country to great heights. KBC should use its rich archives to construct full documentaries on such important people in our history. This is important in order to stop the dangerous narrative propagated by some politicians that history is not important.

I First Heard about Tom Mboya in 1967, in my lower School, from my Mom, Cheering a Man who had made a big Change in the Labour & Employment, by increasing their Salaries from Kshs.45/ TO shs 100/= per Month. The White Settlers were very unhappy with his Idea.

Gone young in age, but old in wisdom and knowledge. Truly, Ja'Rusinga was and remains a Kenyan, and an African hero.

I have never heard Jomo kenyatta or whoever his name is Johnstone kamau features anywhere fighting for kenyan independence,infact all i hear is Tom Mboya and Odinga fighting for his release,how then do History tells us That Jomo kenyatta is the founding father and Kiuks fought for independence 😔they fought for there land,not independence,the land which Kenyatta took all for himself and duping the kiuks that there Enemies are Luos who were residing some 370 kms away in the plains of L.Victoria,a narrative they hold 56 years since independence despite having read history books and still living indenial, Patheticaly dishonest and Disgusting Lots😔😔😔i have no apology to make

That's the whole truth! What is required now is to bury the past and invite a new beginning for your country, between all Kenyans. I wondered how Kenyan supreme court rejected the BBI as unconstitutional claiming its initiative is not people centered while their elite endorse Tanzania as a model in social compatibility, little did they know Tanganyika and Zanzibar union was a leaders centered initiative. You need to wake up and embrace BBI. You need also to know that a normal Kenyan is not politically sensitive and aware of knowing what Kenya as a country needs for perpetual existence.

You clearly do not know what you are talking about. There was nothing like Kenya before whites came. That's why every struggle for independence across many parts of what later became Kenya was characterized by the agitation to get their land back. Fighting to get your land back is same as fighting for your own independence, what are you talking about?

We know. It was Jomo Kenyatta who assassinated. He had the means, he had the motive and wherewithal, he had the capacity to execute it and above all cover it up.

@georgeodhiambo598
@georgeodhiambo598 Жыл бұрын
@@henriomoeje8741Let me explain it to you. Not many people who ride through the storms with the person who ascends to leadership survive after a leader has emerged. Those who see and jointly work with the leader emerge know the leader. They are not mesmerized like the ones who are mentored later by the leader. So they authoritatively challenge the leader when he is wrong. So they tend to be eliminated or sidelined by the leader so as to leave an extremely loyal team of yes-men. Pio Pinto was assassinated because he was not overawed by Kenyatta. Argwings K'Odhek was killed because there was fear in his relationship with Kenyatta. Ngala was eliminated because he had a power base independent of Kenyatta. Jaramogi was shoved aside because he could challenge Kenyatta on matters of principle. Ostensibly, Mboya was the "sword" Kenyatta used to shove Jaramogi aside. With Jaramogi out of the way, Kenyatta assassinated Mboya to get rid of the remaining major challenger. But Kenyatta was not satisfied. Ngala who was one of the leading independence figures had to be gotten out of the way. But even that was not enough. JM was eliminated because he was one of the people who worked with Kenyatta from before Kenya became a republic and was Kenyatta's first private secretary. He knew too much and to make it worse, he had a bold personality. Power hates challenge
