You need to do male/boyfriend version on many of the experiments. There's better chances of people reacting when a woman gets mistreated and not the other way around. A man is expected to be capable of defending himself. If not, then people assume he did something terrible and deserves the punishment and humiliation that comes with it. Showing both sides of the spectrum would be fair and needs to be highlighted on.
@launacyko45234 жыл бұрын
You couldn't have stated that more perfectly
@reecem3674 жыл бұрын
I don't think the reason is that a man is expected to defend himself. Even if the girl was doing really well defending herself people would still step in. The real reason is that there's a double standard and most people today are hyper feminist/anti male so they will always side with the girl especially if its a guy witnessing it because they are tools and like to virtue signal. Personally I wouldn't have said anything, that dialogue wasn't even to the point of verbal abuse in my opinion...its just the standard bickering in a relationship. But I agree with the rest of what you said.

you know, I totally agree with you, and i'm not saying that 'cause I'm a male, 'cause actually I'm a girl. But i really think that it's not fair. if we want equal rights we have to be respectfull to each other, both the sex, women or men.
@reecem3673 жыл бұрын
@@meddyvita It still exists subconsciously no matter what, tens of thousands of years of evolution are very powerful. You can talk about equality all you want but at the end of the day we both know that at the back of your mind when you see a guy who has no job for example you will judge him more harshly than a woman who doesn't.

This video was really emotional for me. Having been mistreated by past partners & publicly humiliated, I wish that someone had stepped in & gotten involved, rather than either just staring or walking away. For everyone reading this, if you ever witness couples arguing & it's getting loud or uncomfortable...please don't be afraid to speak up & say something! Nobody has the right to disrespect another person, whether you're in a relationship or married. Makes no difference. If you see someone becoming aggressive to their partner, please approach them & let them know that their behavior isn't appropriate at all. It could really help & make a difference. Even if that person is being treated badly often, if you could possibly diffuse one incident by commenting, just do it. Your voice matters. This really hit home for me. I had an ex who constantly insulted me in public, screamed at me, belittled me, caused multiple scenes that embarrassed me terribly. And not once did a single person ever step in, or stick up for me, or ask if I was okay. I applaud anyone who has ever spoken up when they've seen a potentially unwelcoming situation like this. Abuse in relationships happens all the time. Verbal, mental/emotional, physical & sexual. Don't ever be scared to let it be known that what you're witnessing isn't alright. Thanks for reading. Thanks for creating this video to bring awareness to real life issues that effect all of us. Whether you're in a relationship like this, or have been a bystander when this type of action has been taken place. All it takes is a minute of your time & voice.

Unlike some of your other videos I've seen, this one didn't seem to me like he was being agrressive, or abusive. He sounded frustrated, and unhappy with her for what seemed to me, to be some valid points. I do think a conversation like that should take place in private, and not in public. But when the witnesses jumped up so quick to interfer in they'er a conversation, I was kind of shocked actually. If he had been abusive, then by all means I would've been the first person to jump in. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think people are a little too sensative these day.
