Pretty sure this was the manga made by both the author of Iruma-kun and the artist of Act-Age. After the writer of Act-Age got thrown in prison for terrible crimes the artist was left out of work. It was great to see all these top tier mangaka showing their support for the artist.

The only reason im saying that because a lot of the time they just naturally get stronger through training. And magic can be boosted by the relationship and emotions you feel similarly to when Goku goes Super Sayian by loosing Krillen or when Naruto loosing control. I dont know why people forget this when looking at various anime and always say Fairytail does it like it's exclusive to them alone.

​@fazril7972 i mean makima's personality is very different from gojo's. Makima is very reserved, manipulates tf out of everyone she interacts with, and is very untrustworthy. While Gojo is showboaty, fun, and even though he is cocky you can tell he is genuinely a really good guy at heart. Even though they are both op, Makima doesn't have anywhere near the ammount of charisma as Gojo. Desscaras is both overpowered and much more similar to Gojo personality wise. Thats why people are calling her the next gen female gojo.

Ichi was my favorite new manga series debut of 2024 hands down no contest. It’s a ton of fun, well paced, and the art goes extremely hard

Tho I do prefer stuff like Dandadan, MAD, Sakamoto Days and Kagurabachi, Ichi is still among that league as some of THE best new gen manga has to offer as an entire medium. Definitely would recommend it to everyone. Dont sleep on this one!!!

I think I'm one of the few who literally read this manga since the first chapter cause I liked "welcome to demon school Iruma-kun" and this is made by the same author who made it along with another author. so I can now say I was a fan since day 1 of its translation

The song says "Myst of The Night" but it's actually "Your Affection" From Persona 4. I'd recognize that chorus ANYWHERE. "Your Affection! Your Affection!" The music is set up in such a way to not fully be heard with the automated sounding voice being the way it is. I'm guessing this is someone else's video and they just re-uploaded it with a random song and lowered the volume of the listed random song so the Voice could be heard- but "Your Affection" gave it away.

I love how stupid the majik that got Ichi the power. His trial is basically to kill him but the catch is that you can't be a woman. Like, we know that the strat worked because nobody in their sane mind would send a normal guy without power to kill him, but he was betting on the fact that there wouldn't be an insane guy that'll try it.
