I started watching your videos quite a few months ago, and really enjoyed them. I just want to say you really help me understand large scale wars, and the very big threats of putting forces in certain areas. With the stuff now happening in Ukraine, I understand how unfit the current president administration in USA is, forcing NATO in Ukraine, and now Russia threatening defense with nuclear weapons. I wish people had a clear understanding, and they all watched your videos. War is not funny. Let’s end it and save lots of lives.❤ thank you for your teaching

Great video and I also agree that it would be great to end the conflict to save lives. The problem though is that Russia is the red player in this example: they are going to smack stuff until they can’t easily smack stuff anymore. Just because he’s smacked one neighbour, doesn’t mean that he won’t try to smack another neighbour. And success making it more likely to happen again in the future, as tends to happen. I agree war is a waste, but until Putin loses power, I don’t see an easy resolution. It seems likely that any quick solution will cause further wars down the line (in Ukraine and elsewhere). But then I am based in Europe and used to seeing two decades of Russian aggression (assassinations, sabotage), so maybe have a different world view/outlook. In 2013, I thought Russia would be smart to try to pry Europe away from the US politically and economically. In 2014, Putin decided to take a slightly different approach…

Yes let´s end the war...but the main pressure should be on Russia to gtfo of Ukraine. That´s how this war ends and it could end anytime Putin decides, but he will not because of his imperialistic ambitions. But we should not be discussing this under Pete´s videos. Risk is a great game that should unite us, but that is it, I don´t really see how it is connected to major world conflicts.
