Some conclusions I've come to watching you. 1. Maybe there's something therapeutic to this farming thing. How many firemen farm on their days off? Maybe The Center for Excellence should have a working farm. 2. Free fire brother labor is the best kind. I couldn't have gotten started without it. 3. Keep up the great work! People have no idea how hard it is to share your journey and do it at the same time. Easily double the work!

You need a nice Smokey lake stack temp gauge out front. What were you running to get your red tint?

I have one that I was making that was electronic that would have lights depending on the temps but never got it working the way I wanted. I need to dig it out and finish it.

Lol...I just came in from a 6hr boil on my 2x4 and I get to watch this😅. My sap's been 2.3--2.5 so after 2 runs thru my diy RO I'm close to 7.5. Really like watching some "serious" equipment👍

Question Scott, what size pvc do you have for your suction and discharge to and from each tank? Currently have a leader micro 2 post, but know I will be upgrading in the coming years. Also what size tanks do you have in the sugar house?

I have 2" from the tanks and 1" perm and concentrate discharges. The raw sap tank is 1000 ish and the perm is 900 ish. Your goal for perm should be the compacity of your machine. ie 600 GPH machine 600 gallons of perm. You can get away with 1/2 of that but it is a fine line because you are using it to rinse the soap out of the machine with a goal of not leaving any behind

I’d like to. It has been about every other. Drain fill with perm and some pan cleaner now in the flu pan then leave the bubbler on. Syrup pan drain fill with perm and pan cleaner

Never waste sap 😂😂 What size is the feed tank and permeate tank in your sugar house ? So close on syrup color, all we make is Amber and Dark

Raw sap is 1041 at the over flow Perm is 836 at the overflow Head tank is 195 I dragged the Hanna out tonight 73. So damb close
