THIS MASQUERADE 2. VERSION INSTRUMENTAL (Leon Russel) featuring RODRIGO BOTTER MAIO (Tenor Sax Solo & all instruments, arrangement, photos & video edition)
Dear friends, I hope you are all doing well!
After I reduced my video production to every 2 weeks, this is my video Nr. 172 of the serie THE MULTI RODY SHOW, bringing you a nice arrangement and version of this beautiful and historic song THIS MASQUERADE, that got famous in the voice of the great singer and guitarist GEORGE BENSON.
Maybe some of you saw already the first version where Mr. RODY BALBOA is singing. I used part of that old video, recorded new saxophones, new solos, made a new Layout and made this 2. Instrumental Version for you :-)
Also, maybe you realized that I never play a song exactly like it is. I must arrange it before and this is the nice part of it. It would be too easy to open the Real Book and just play it. I want to put a part of me in it. I hope you like it :-)
And of course, maybe these videos can help the participants of my WORKSHOP, so they can have an idea of how I think that it would sound like. Or almost like that :-) PS: we played exactly this Arrangement in the last JAZZ & FUNK WORKHOP!
