If you're looking for tips, always block low when fighting Takeda. His overhead is a wind up tornado kick 3:44 so you have time to up block, and the other is his teleport kick 9:56. His whips may look like an overhead 9:15 but they are mid

One thing I noticed in this vid was that Motaro’s Very Far Teleport was never used. The Motaro buff sounded really good in Practice, but it feels like the opportunity just never comes or at least it doesn’t last with how Quan can get rushed and fucked over. Pair that with -50 Health and 270 damage combos….this pairing is a yikes

Yes you got the skins, his robes look so nice in motion. I would say Takeda's range is tough to deal with. There are times when I don't know what to do when I'm up aganist him, but I would say he isn't so bad to deal with. I may change my sentiment, but right now I like him. I mean he isn't as obnoxious as Peacemaker or Homelander so I call that a win. I did wish however that since Takeda has rekka that Tanya had one too, I swear when they said that on the kombat kast, all I could think was why didn't you give Tanya her kobu jutsu rekka back. Anyway good matches as always Quanfather.

the problem with Quan is that Takeda does soo much damage on hit, that he can't keep up with him, even if he plays well he can't keep at paste with the damage Takeda is doing.

I was going to say the exact same thing. takeda hits hard and then Motaro gives him 850 health. So basically 2 touches and you are dead.

i know Quan has *better* kameos but motaro is just so fun and gives him so much... underutilized team fr. being able to full combo someone fullscreen with s4 tp is amazing. 850 hp is not😅

Yoooo!!! That first Takeda/Sareena was me 😂 ggs dink. Sareena is by far his best kameo because she gives him the ablility to chip people out extremely fast and she compliments his b21 string very well from a distance

Also i have alot of tech for Takeda and armored reversals, if you want we could play some sets after i get off work today and i'll help you in the matchup on what to mainly look out for, his best moves and setups for sareena and frost since those are the 2 kameos i use with him

Also to elaborate on why, to me it feels like takeda is supposed to be strike throw (since you can combo off throw) and sareena gives no set up windows for smart shuriken meterlessly. Yes, you can always spend the bar at the end of a combo to set up a shuriken but takeda is already meter heavy.

@@8VISI0N8 she gives him the most utility out of all his main kameos, sure cyrax and jax gives him slightly more damage but she gives him good damage, a better projectile, fast anti air that you can combo from, meter drain, and keeps b21 from being upblocked

@@dr.platinum2336 cyrax gives literally everything you just listed plus throw combo setups & you can combo off overhead. Maybe look into that team more.

That long reaching 3 hit string; the 3rd hit can be upblocked and you can interrupt betwern the 2nd and 3rd hit. I play shao so if they do that string and only do the first 2 buttins i can stand 2 intterupt almost every time.

It's a longer combo which allows more time for motaro to recharge for a very small damage sacrifice

The bone cage seems useless most of the time. The portals can be hard to use too.

other way around😅 takeda does really well against Quan with multiple hitting strings, can easily get out of bone cage, and high damage - every time Quan got touched it was half HP
